Love it! 7/8/2013

Was there on Friday to change my oil and rotate the tires. Always fun to play with an impact wrench! I never got his name but everytime I come in the tall guy who helps get the car on the lift is always really helpful with questions even when he's in the middle of working on another car. Never hesitates to stop and take a look or lower the car or whatever, he's a great asset to us guys who vastly overestimate our abilities! more

Decent place and people. I've been here several times and will return. Some tools missing from boxes. Lots of fairly common tools are specialty so they can charge more. Overall I'm happy with then and plan on returning more

Very dissatisfied with Hands-On Garage. 4/30/2013

I had high expectations for this place based on the previous reviews. However, I have never been more unhappy with a full-service garage. I have been having persistent rear brake issues on my 2009 Sonata due to the caliper seizing on the rotor. I explained the problem over the phone and was quoted $25 for an inspection. I also got an oil change while I was there. When I got there, I appeared to be the only person getting full-service work done. Nonetheless, it took over 2 full hours for them to finish the "inspection" and oil change. As far as the inspection goes, all the guy could tell me was, "Your caliper, it's not working." When I asked for more information, he repeated that same sentence twice. He also indicated that they couldn't find that caliper anywhere. So I was sent off with no solution or information about the problem. To top it off, I was then told that the inspection cost $55 instead of $25 and that the $25 inspection is for a "full vehicle inspection" which does not include brakes. I would give this place negative stars if I could. Beware!!!! more
