These people are always running late my last time calling them was my last time calling them. The lady that answers the phone need to be replaced I called at 3 12 asked for a cab from aldi (the grocery store) while I'm still in the store I'm four minutes from them by the way she said one will be there soon I pay for my food bag them up head outside where I waited another 12 minutes so I call back she said sorry it will take another 10 minutes so I say alright im going to walk next door to white castle while waiting for them another cab come in so I got in that taxi I get home I call gold taxi to let them know I got another ride the lady started talking to me like I was one of her kids telling me the gas price went up I should have called before and cancelled then hung up on me before I could tell her somethings you should not leave your paying fare waiting outside for 40 minutes when you are 4 minutes away and if you did not have taxis available dont tell me he on his way and if anything I should have gotten a call from you more

Don't use GoldStar Taxi. I called them in June and made arrangements for them to pick up a woman who worked in our office and was unable to drive due to injury. They were to charge the service to our credit card. The woman had problems with them the three times she used them. She gave me receipts totalling approximately $58.00. We were not charged for her usage until July 8, when they charged us $269.50. Although I contacted them and the credit card company, we were unable to get it corrected. They sent a fake receipt to the credit card company. We had sent actual copies of their receipts. I would not trust them for anything! more

I used this company for the first time because my car got a flat on my way to take my baby for her 2-month check up. I asked if they could speed up the process because of my situation. they were there in less than 5 minutes. I would strongly recommend using their service. They waste no time. more

GOLD STAR ROBBERY 4/11/2012

I TOOK A CAB TO THE WALMART THIS A.M. IN WHICH I OFTEN DO AND IT NORMALLY COST $5 SOMETHING, IN WHICH WAS MY CASE THIS MORNING EXCEPT THE DRIVER DID NOT HAVE CHANGE FOR A $20 , SO HE ASKED ME TO GO INSIDE TO GET CHANGE IN WHICH I DID AND ONCE RETURNING TO PAY MY FARE IT HAD GONE UP TO $14 SOMETHING AND I ASKED WHY AND HE STATED BECAUSE I MADE HIM WAIT I HAD TO PAY THAT AMOUNT! HIS JOB REQUIRES HIM TO HAVE SOME SORT OF CHANGE AND IT WASNT MY FAULT THAT HE HAD NONE , SO I WAS UPSET HAVING TO PAY HIM EXTRA BECAUSE HE HAD NO CHANGE , WHAT A RIP OFF !!!! more

Im a single mom with four kids. And daily I go to work and drop my kids off at daycare between the hastle of catching a bus with my kids and the chance of missing buses and or buses not coming on time I take cabs. Since a friend recomended me a few years ago to Gold Star I've been using them since there always on time and reliable and even send a van for me and my children thanks gold star you guys are a great taxi service and i would recomend them to anyone more

WARNING..WARNING..WARNING!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I took a Gold Star taxi from a hotel recently to an address in St. Paul. The driver totally ignored my instructions and directions and took me for a ""joy ride"" clearly to bump up the fare. I have done this run many times and the fare was always $24.oo or less. I was charged $45.00. By this thief so I called the police who asked me to simply pay what was on the meter. The thieving driver called the cops at the same time stating that I refused to pay him. Do not believe a positive word about these pirates. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! more

Terrible 2/21/2011

I called 10:45 to get a cab to pick me up @ 11:30. They said no problem. Since then, i've called them back twice, still no cab, and i'm over an hour late for work. I picked this company because they had 5 star rating, but afterwards i looked closer and 95% of the posts are from ""Gold24"" and all on the same day. DO not use this company. more

Terrifying! 1/14/2011

This is by far the worst cab experience of my life! The driver was clearly drugged out and driving all over the road and turning down one way streets going the wrong way. I told him my address several times and when he did not understand he started yelling in another language at me from the front seat. After I tried to coach him on how to get to my house, he stopped two blocks up from my apartment. Tired of the hassle and honestly terrified that he was going to kill us both with his horrendous driving, I just decided to get out and walk the rest of the way. THEN when I tried to use a credit card to pay for my fare, he started swearing at me and told me to ""get the f*ck out of his cab."" He started to drive off while i was still getting my bag out of the car, nearly running me over in the process. The positive side was that I got a free ride home, but i would've paid the 30 dollars i owed just to have avoided the crazy cracked out experience altogether. more

WORST cab company in Minneapolis 4/24/2010

Having used multiple cab services in Minneapolis, I can easily say Goldstar is the worst. The cabbies never know the location you want to go (unless you're talking about some stupid club downtown) and they're always white dudes who are total morons that can't get around Minneapolis for the life of them. Pros: None from a cab company... Cons: TERRIBLE service more

Okay, So heres the deal I'm an 18yr old female living in minneapolis and i'm sick of calling a cab and getting rude drivers that try and flirt with me well the drivers ive gotten from goldstar taxi have been nothing but polite and proffesional. i will be using goldstar taxi from now on. i highly recommend them! Iam a senior citizen i live in the high rise in s.mpls i have had problems before with cabs because it takes me some time to get downstairs and out to the cab they had started the meter before i got in and drove of many times since i call gold star taxi i have not had any problems no waiting fees and even get a senior citizen discount now all my friends and neighbors in high rise use gold star Pros: best Cons: no more

thank you gold star taxi i was on broadway coming out of cub foods and i felt a tingle in my lower limbs i knew that ment i was about to have a stroke so i called gold star on my cell phone and they were there within 5 mins and i told him i didnt have any cash and i was havin a stroke the driver helped me anyway and rushed me to the hospital without any pay they are one of the most caring companies thanks gold star Pros: prompt service,caring,good people Cons: none more

thank you gold star taxi for saving my brothers life my brother was knocked across the road by a drunk driver i called the ambulance and 5 different cab companies in mineeapolis one of them was gold star taxi they showed up with in three min and rushed my brother to the hospital my brother was bleeding all over the car and the cab driver still kept his self together the doctor said that if my brother would've waited 15 more min he wouldnt have made it thank you gold star taxi you saved my brother's life Pros: best cab company in town Cons: none more
