Good experience 11/10/2012

Called on a Thursday night with a broken spring. They came out on Friday the time they said. 2 hourds to do a full makeover. New springs, rollers etc. 10 yr warranty price may seem a little steep but at least I won't have to worry about this again for a long time. Ryan was the person who did the work. He seemed like he worked very hard. Clean up was good. No issues so far. Its much quiter than the original parts. more

I called because another vendor told me I needed a whole new door. Mike came and explained what was really needed. He did an overhaul of the parts around the door and now it works better than ever. He saved me upwards of a thousand bucks! Thanks Mike. more

Quick Response, Efficient and Pleasant Service 11/8/2012

When my garage door spring broke, I had no idea who to call. I chose Girard's at random from the phone book. They scheduled me for the same day I called, arrived as scheduled and had the door repaired in 30 minutes, complete with all new springs, cables, pulleys, and safety cables. They give a 10-year warranty on parts, and the serviceman even lubricated the tracks, checked the safety sensors, and waived the service charge. I thought the price was very reasonable, and will happily call them again should I need more work done. (Ask for James - he explained everything clearly and was very pleasant, as well as advising me to get a surge protector for the opener.) more

James was prompt and explained the issue at hand. He outlined the solution and also pointed out that I could use a surge protector. He came while a Northeaster was brewing and still took as much time as needed to explain my options and adjusted my safety sensors. His help was more than welcomed especially under the conditions! more

Fast, Reliable Service 11/7/2012

I needed service to my garage door for sagging cables that came off their roller. James was very helpful and fixed the problem by replacing my springs and safety cables. He placed one spring too high on the bracket which I noticed right after he left and I called the office immediately and they sent him back to my home in minutes. I would recommend this company. more

Overall excellent experience with Girard's 11/7/2012

Service Tech was onsite within an hour of placing the call. He installed an overhaul kit for our door and a new gear assembly. Repairs were completed within 2 hours. Mike was professional in his diagnosis and very helpful in explaining my option. Definitely would recommend Girard's. more

Excellent Service 11/7/2012

I have called a few times for service and every time has been excellent. Always same day service. Yesterday, the technician was running late, but I received phone call updates, which was appreciated. When Mike arrived in the evening, he assessed the problem and recommended the lower cost fix, as opposed to replacing the unit. He completed the work quickly and was very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Girard's Garage Door Services. more
