garage door not closing 11/27/2012

James from Girard's came out today to check my garage door system, as one of the doors was not responding to the open/close button. He rebooted the opener at no cost, gave me suggestions on which parts to upgrade, and how to prevent the system from needing a reboot in the future. He was very knowledgeable about the system and was not pushy about the higher quality products they sell, just explained what they have and why they would function better. I was very happy with my service today and will no doubt go to Girard's in the future for garage door issues. Thank you James! more

Garage door issue - mike (service rep) 11/23/2012

Excellent service by mike. He notified me ahead of time of his eta an followed through by being on time. This is the second time mike has serviced a garage door for me. He is knowledgeable and takes the time to provide an explanation of what service he has provided. I would highly recommend this company and mike for any garage door service. more

From the lady that answered the phone to Mike the service guy, excellent customer service! Mike explained everything to me and I felt confident that the job would be done right. Same day friendly service! 11/20/2012

Mike called before he showed up for the repair. He showed me the problem and recommended the proper repair. He was very professional and I felt like he wasn't trying to take advantage or rip me off. The door is running smoothly! We have used this company in the past.They are very reliable and do great work. more

Excellent experience 11/13/2012

I don't usually complete these kinds of surveys, but I appreciated the service I received from Girard's so much that I'd like to wholeheartedly pass along my recommendation. They were able to send Blair, their tech, out the day I called and he was not only professional, really helpful in explaining what he recommended and what I could do in the future to troubleshoot problems with my doors, but he was also very personable and simply a nice person to do business with --- a good representative for his company. I would definitely use Girard's in the future and can recommend them without reservation. more

Servicing my keypad and garage door opening equipment 11/13/2012

Technician was polite and thorough, as well as quick. Most importantly he saved me money by re-programming my keypad and explaining how I can keep it working it effectively, and re-program myself if needed. (I assumed I would need to replace it.) Kudos to him!! more
