Adrian has cut and highlighted my hair for many years and I keep going back. The cut is perfect and the highlights are awsome. Adrian is constantly training on new techniques and has a great personality always caring about the customer and what they want. more

Best Salon EVER!!! 4/4/2011

I have been getting my hair done with Victor at Free Spirit for a long time now. I feel right at home walking through the door. Everyone is very friendly, greetinng to make you feel as comfortable as possible.g with warm smiles and many hellos. Victor does my color and cut and it is amazing!!! He listens very intently and is honest with what may not look good. I have never been too into talking with people who are doing my hair, i am somewhat shy, but i never have a problem talking to all of the stylists at Free Spirit. Also, i have gotten my hair styled for graduation picures by one of the other stylists and it looked amazing. I am always so excited when its time to make an appointment more

BEST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER 4/1/2011

I have never written a review before, but feel so strongly about my experience at Free Spirit Salon, that I wanted to spread the word. I am from South Carolina and frequently visit my sister in Georgia. On this visit, she talked me into letting her hair stylist, ""Victor"", cut and color my hair. All I can say is OMG! I LOVE IT!!! I have the worst hair and have never really been happy when leaving a salon. Thank you Victor!!! On top of that...this is the most beautiful salon I have ever seen. Everyone was friendly and very professional. If you ever find yourself in the area, I would definitely give them a try. more

Great stylist, warm and relaxing atmosphere 3/14/2011

I have been going to this salon every six weeks for 13 yrs and would never think about going anywhere else. Victor has never let me down with either the cut or the color, which is always exactly what I want. Everyone at the salon is so friendly and professional that I truly treasure the afternoons I spend there. more

Adrian is Awsome, a true Hairstyling Genius 3/14/2011

I have been going to this salon for the past three years and always had excellent service. However, it wasn't until my experience with Adrian that I was completely blown away. He transformed my appearance with an edgy haircut and fabulous color. He took my all one color blond and turned it into a beautiful mixture of highlights, lowlights and a base color that looks fabulous. No more DIY hair color for me. The staff at this salon is friendly and professional and you are treated special from the moment you walk in. Adrian is very attentive and makes you feel like the only person in the salon. He takes his work very seriously. He is a true expert stylist and takes great pride in his work, as he should. You will not regret coming to this salon. It feels like an uptown salon but in a cozy small town neighborhood. Once you go, you get it! A bit pricey but as the old saying goes, ""you get what you pay for"". more

The Best Hairdresser in Atlanta, GA 3/6/2011

I have moved 16 times in 30 years on the average so I have seen my share of hairdressers. Adrian Gutierrez, the artistic director for Free Spirit Salon is by far the best I have ever found. He is very detail oriented about every aspect of styling your hair...color, cut, blow drying, products...and he knows his stuff. He is also organized and meticulous. I have very difficult hair to style and he has educated me on the mechanics of hair and how to style appropriately. He also know the products inside and out and has educated me as well on the right blend of products for me to use. He is also very professional and makes you feel very special as he is creating the right style. HE CARES!!!! By all means...give him a chance to create a style for you...it is worth every penny....believe me!! more

Even if he wasn't the best stylist in Atlanta, Adrian would have a huge following simply because he is such a pleasure to work with. He really listens when you tell him what you want and has the artistic talent to make it happen. He truly loves what he does and is dedicated to making his clients look their best. more

Fabulous Stylist Adrian! 3/1/2011

If you want to experience a highly experience hair artisian you must see Adrian at Free Spirit. I have been seeing him for years and referr everyone to him. Why? Because he is serious about growing as a hair designer regularly attending the hottesy shows around the world to improve himself. He then turns around and loves sharing his knowledge. No wonder he has become the Artistic Director of this highly sought after salon. The wonderful thing thatAdrian offers is unparalleled client service. Each time I go I am amazed at how every client seems to come out feel extraordinarily special. Hands on -s his styke - no pun inteneded! Enjoy your next visit, but. Plan ahead he books up fast! more

Are you looking for an exceptional stylist! 9/21/2010

If you are trying to find a stylist that is exceptionally great with color/highlights then you need to see Adriana. I have been to upscale salons around Atlanta and Adriana is by far the best stylist I have been to. Adriana will listen to what you want and make sure with photos that you are both thinking of the same result. She truly cares and wants to be sure you are happy with your results. more

If you want to look your best and enjoy friendly professional service, then look no further. Before finding Adrian, I was always trying to guess which cut, color and sytle would best compliment me..but for several years now, Adrian takes all that guess work away! Adrian is the most talented, knowledgable, passionate, upbeat and caring person who loves to make his clients look fabulous. While he actually does work on celebrities, even if you're not famous, he treats you like a celebrity. He is truly gifted in cutting, color and styling and whether you are just looking for a trim/touchup or if you're ready for a brand new look - Adrian is the man for the job! The rest of the staff is lovely as well and the salon is clean and beautiful - kudos! Pros: Cut, color, syle Cons: None! more

I just recently started going to Free Spirit and was matched up with Kristen.. all I have to say is.. phenominal. She was simply outstanding. Her ability to do hair, cut and color, as well as make things a positive and enjoyable experience is outstanding. You would initially be a little concerned since she is a younger stylist but all of my worries faded away as I looked in the mirror to see my hair and felt wonderful. She is outstanding! Adrian the Michaelangelo of hair design 11/30/2009

I have gone to the Free Spirit Salon for several years. To be honest and quite frank if Adrian were to leave the salon tomorrow his clients would follow him. No questions asked. Adrian is hairdesigner who loves his profession and it shows in his flawless work. His passion for his profession is so very apparent when you first meet him. He is confidant in what he does and is never afraid to try the latest and newest styles. Adrian makes sure he is up to date on every hair style and hair coloring techniques. Very often he will fly to various seminars with in the USA but also Europe. His unmatched talent, impeccable manners and professionalism make me call him the Michaelangelo of hair design. I assure anyone out there that he has earned that reputation. I have lived in Paris London and New York. Hopefully he will remain in Atlanta. New York would surely embrace him............I may have to follow him. more

Fab hair 11/18/2009

I have been seeing Adrian for about 15 years. He has taken me through very short hair to long hair. I feel I have a personal connection w/ each member of the staff members. I enjoy the pampering I receive each and every visit. I drive 50 miles each way to see Adrian, worth every mile. My color and highlites get so many compliments. Very Professional Salon in Roswell 10/6/2009

I have been a client of Adrians for over 20 years. He is an amazing stylist and colorist and a complete professional. I was hooked from the first visit and have only gone elsewhere when I had to be out of town/country for very extended stays. Adrian always had to repair the work that my ""temporary"" stylist had done! He is extremely competent in what he does. I completely trust him and most of the time now just say, ""do whatever you want"". He is very intuitive, yet also takes the time to study bone structure, lines and coloring to make sure the finished product enhances what he has to start with! If you are looking for a an amazing stylist and pleasant atmosphere....consider Adrian and Free Spirt - you won't be disappointed. Farzaneh is amazing too - they make a great team!!!! ADRIAN, THE MAESTRO 8/15/2009

I drove 16 miles from Lawrenceville on the recommendation of a friend who is a long time client of Adrian's. The trip was worth it! Adrian explained what he would like to do with my haircut and showed pictures so there would not be any surprises. His attention to detail and artistry is beyond any experience I've ever had in other salons. I love everything about my haircut and styling. Paula is a talented colorist and gives a relaxing shampoo. Adrian also did a massage of my neck and shoulders. I've lived all over the world and this salon is by far the friendliest. Everyone I saw leaving the salon looked fabulous! I'm so pleased, I booked all my appointments through the end of the year because Adrian is very busy. It took three weeks to get the appointment I had today. They are an Aveda salon and will even touch up your make-up after the hair styling. Great experience and very happy new client! Pros: Salon exudes hospitality! more

Adrian is FABULOUS!! 5/8/2009

I was referred to Free Spirit by a friend. I have super curly hair and can often be apprehensive at a new salon. The entire team, including the owners, made me feel at home. They came over to introduce themselves and oftered me coffee and tea at every opportunity. As for the color and cut, Adrian was absolutely fabulous! He cares what you think but will interject his professional opinion. My hair has never looked so good. Adrian had incredible attention to detail and spent a lot of time on my haircut to make sure it was perfect. He was also incredibly honest about the products I should and should not be using but there was no high pressure sales pitch. I was blown away by the experience. They are truly a unique group of people that seem to love what they are doing. Pros: You will feel like a celebrity! Cons: A little pricey but worth every penny! more

AMAZING! 4/11/2009

Firstly, I have never ever written a review for anything, but my experience was so wonderful that I had to give Free Spirit Salon a 5-star review. I am naturally a brunette, but wanted to go blonde and was looking for a salon to get it done professionally so I looked around and decided on this place (they have a coupon on the website for 50% color or highlight with purchase of cut and style). I booked an appointment with Reina; though my appointment changed 3 times, I am so glad I decided to still go here. Reina was such a fabulous colorist, and knew how to make the haircut and color work for me, even being as low maintenance as I am. I have never loved any hairstylist or cut before, but before it was even all done, I LOVED it. And all of the stylists that I came in contact with were all so friendly and helpful. You will not regret coming here. Pros: Short wait time, very accomodating, friendly stylists Cons: Changed appointment 3 times more

Seriously Disappointed 3/16/2009

Well let me start by saying I first went to Free Spirit because it is an Aveda Salon and I love Aveda products. That is where the love ends though. I have never written a review before, but I had to spread the word about this salon. It turned out to be the worst color job done to my hair and the most I have ever paid to get it done. Please do not waste your money or time. Victor, the owner of the salon did my color as well as the cut. My highlights have never looked this bad before. I still have really bad roots showing. I paid extra to have a ""senior stylist"" color my hair to make sure it would turn out well, and it was worse than if I would have done it out of a box myself. The overpriced ""cut"" was trimming the angles around my face which took him no more than 2 minutes. Did I walk into Great Clips and not realize it? Pros: Aveda Products Cons: Awful Color job more

Great Color and Cut Experience! 2/4/2009

I moved to the Alpharetta area a few months ago, and have now visited Free Spirit a couple of times for highlights and a cut. Reina is incredible! My highlights are beautiful, my cut looks exactly the way I wanted it to, and I even went to her for my prewedding haircut. Plus, she's a great conversationalist and gives the best scalp massage ever! The entire staff is cheerful and helpful. All in all, every experience I have had with this salon has been wonderful! more

Amazing Cut and Service 12/30/2008

I recently received a cut and style by Allison and was extrememly happy with the style she recommended for me and her great service! The salon was beautiful and everyone was really friendly and helpful! My mother goes there as well for a cut and color and Allison always goes above and beyond for her as well! Keep up the good work!
