Free Spirit Aesthetics

I have been going to Adrian at Free Spirit for 10 years. He has ALWAYS given me a great haircut. He also does my highlights once a quarter and it never fails to look completely natural and totally complements my skin tone, like I was born with this color! Adrian gives such a good cut (and I have short hair) that I can go 6-7 weeks between cuts. I always receive compliments at work and in the grocery store on my hairstyle and I can honestly say I have not had anyone else cut or highlight my hair in 10 years. We are lucky to have him in Alpharetta, GA. And the salon is wonderful - the people are extremely nice and welcoming - it's a great experience to have an appointment there. more

My wife walked in and asked me if I liked her new hair style. It was great. ""How much?"" I asked. ""You paid WHAT?"" Too much I thought to myself, but it did look really great. The color was just right (Buckhead Red), the cut was perfect for her face, and best of all-my wife was glowing with her ""new-do."" At the time I did not get it. All I knew was that after a trip to Free Spirit to have Adrian cut her hair, my wife was a very happy camper. Why fight it? Keep her happy. After a year, I still did not get it. All I heard was that Adrian was an artist with hair (a new concept for me). Then, last year my wife gave me the present of a ""hair cut"" with Adrian. A silent groan went off in my head. What I voiced was, ""Why? What is wrong with the $15.00 cuts at the XYZ place next to the grocery store?"" I was told that they look like #%*& after two weeks. I went to see Adrian. I see the light now. The man is a genius with hair. He is worth every cent of what I pay him for his work. Adrian takes the time to analyze your facial structure and gives you a hair style that looks great and lasts for six weeks. The atmosphere of the Free Spirit Salon is very friendly, and you are made to feel right at home. You receive old fashioned HIGH CLASS SERVICE the way it was meant to be. Go, get a new hair style. You will not be disappointed. more

Hmm.. I don't know if there are words to describe the wonderful experience at Free Spirit Salon. Every little thing about the salon is very nice. The peaceful, simple, yet very luxurious interior, as well as the workers. Especially hairstylist by the name of Kim! She is very sweet and kind girl! Time passes by so quickly when I have conversation with her, and It feels like the haircut only took like a minute! Her skills in cutting hair and styling it is very exquisite. From beginning to end, her service is excellent. I strongly recommend her! She is 100 out of 10! I wouldn't let anyone cut my hair other than her!! Wow I am really amazed i rarly go to salon's and every time I do i have a rude person who just gives me a nasty look and starts cutting my hair but, Farzaneh she is different she is a sweet lady who is always so friendly to everyone and i have to say she cut my hair like no other now I am going to make Farzaneh my official hair stylist , And i recommend everyone who goes to free spirit ASK FOR FARZANEH!!!!! more

I just moved from Ca and did not know a hair salon to go to..And I had a wedding coming soon! I was so nervous,I couldn't sleep! A friend told me about Adrian at Free spirit salon in Roswell.I went there and it was an instant relive! Everybody was so friendly and caring-from Shadi who immediately made a few appointments.trough Adrain ,who is an ARTIST with color and cut/he knows what is good for you but does not force it on you,and does not cut off too much!!!/-now ,try to find this quality! Kim did very elegant up-do for the wedding!I If your'e serious about your hair -leave it in Adran's hands-He is amazing with highlights .lowlights and cut! Thank you all sooo much-Eva more

I relocated to Atlanta in August of this past year and was leaving behind my most favorite hair dresser in California. I was very nervous about finding a new hairdresser who could color and cut my hair to the level of satisfaction that my other hairdresser could. I even contemplated flying back to CA. to get my hair done...very expensive! I am happy to say I have found a somewhat cheaper alternative to that solution. Adrien at Free Spirit Salon! My parents have been going to Adrienn for about 15 years so I thought I would give him a try. He did an AMAZING job on my highlights and cut. I should add that my hair is very thick and I have lots of it...so cutting my hair is no easy task and I am very picky about that. I was so excited to find my new hairdresser. Now I must warn that looking absolutley fabulous when you leave the amazing talents of Adrien is not cheap as a matter of fact it is the most I have ever paid for my hair. But in my opinion it is 100% worth it. Everything is flawless! You will also find the staff at Free Spirit to be welcoming, hospitable and at times very entertaining. I will continue to sing Adrien's praises and refer anyone I know who is looking for a fantastic hair dresser to him. more

My best friend referred me to Allison when I moved back to Atlanta three years ago. Allison is honest, talented, and extremely professional. I have never left her chair disappointed. I'm a big fan of changing my hair cuts and color and I am always very excited about my new look that Allison creates. Her cuts grow out beautifully, and her color always leaves my hair looking healthy and brilliant. I get lots of compliments on my hair and I never hesitate to tell people to go see Allison! Now my daughters get to go to her for haircuts because the cut grows out so nicely, they don't have to go so often. I always enjoy my time at Free Spirit, its a nice place to spend a couple of hours of ""me"" time. more

I have been going to Free Spirit Salon for 13 years and enjoy every visit. Everyone that works there is friendly and attentive. But I must say, the main reason I go there is because of Adrian. I don't know what I would do without him. He has always given me good advice on styles because he stays very up to date on trends. I like how precise he is with every cut. He really takes his time and concentrates so that my hair looks great from the beginning and grows out nicely. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my hair over the years. Adrian is always professional, but he is also a good friend. He truly cares about his clients. I feel so fortunate to have found him years ago. I would recommend him and Free Spirit to anyone and everyone. more

Allison has been doing my hair for years. I followed her to Free Spirit from another salon and I wouldn't have anyone else color my hair. I have a habit of going blonde then back to dark and she always gets the color perfect. I have referred many friends to her too. more

I heard about Farzaneh through her daughter Eli, her hair has a purple strip which looks amazing so of course I imitated her and did a blue strip on mine. I never had any color on my hair so I was scared because of chemical relaxers I did before (which killed my hair), but Farzaneh was amazing. Not only did she do a superb job on the color she also did a treatment that made my hair feel and look like black and blue silk. Furthermore, I am very intimidated by hair cuts from previous experience in other salons but Farzaneh worked her magic on my hair and I LOVE it. I highly recommend her if you are looking for an amazing hairstylist. more

I have known Adrian for over 15 years and have yet to find another stylist that exceeds his capabilities. I will NOT go to anyone else for color. more

Allison has been doing my hair for years. She always gets what I am saying when I go in. Works well from photos I bring in and really listens to what I am going for in look, color or style. Over the years I have referred people to her. All of them had very good experiences. I have very curly, thick, long dark hair. I guess Allsion has mastered scheduling appts because she always has plenty of time for me. The salon is upscale, but not ""uncomfortably upscale"" lol. I love the relaxed feel. Love the products. Love the fact that they are environmentally conscious. They always have coffee, tea and water. Everyone is so friendly. Other stylists or employees will walk by and ask you if you want something to drink. Thats just cool. It's like they have each other's back. Taking care of each other. My husband has thin, straight, light ash brown hair. He wont go to anyone but Allison. Once in awhile he will go a little longer or shorter, but he basically gets the same cut every time. Mistakes show up easier in his hair. Allison gets it right every time. You get the feeling that the people that work there are like family. Very respectful and considerate of each other. Very cool creative vibe going on too, which I love. I have always had a good experience at this salon. The prices are what is to be expected. It is an Aveda Salon, so you pretty much know how much things are based on Aveda salons. No surprises here. The only thing I would do, considering the economy right now, is to reward good customers. like with a gift bag of sample products or something. It would be free to do. Maybe the computer could track your visits. Every time you get up to 1k, they give you a little gift or something. That would be pretty cool. ( just sayin ) They get 5 stars from me and I am sure my husband would give um 5 stars too! Thanks for your hard work Allison!!! more

I just had my hair cut yesterday for the first time in honestly four months and I am BLOWN AWAY as usual at the difference between Adrian and every other hair dresser in the city! more

First, ""I must say""......I was coming onto this site to report my experience with"" Free Spirit Salon"", (which was wonderful by the way), but got a little sidetracked after reading the last review written by ""EmilyCKo"".....and I have to say, I am completely shocked????? (Sounds like she is the rude one). My stylist was Victor, and the work and color he did on my hair was phenomenal. (I'm definitely keeping him), but I did have the opportunity of meeting Sandy (owner), and I found her to be very pleasant, dressed beautifully, and appeared to be very professional....(she checked me out at the front desk). It's very unfortunate that people will use these sort of sites as a way to personally attack someone. All I wanted to say is.....I had a great experience with them and wanted to share that with anyone who is looking for a beautiful and professional Aveda Salon. First, I must say I agree with the other two reviews that saw how rude the owner, Sandy is. Not only is she rude she looks like the cleaning lady and not a salon owner. Her hair is a mess, kinda like mine! And she dresses like she's going to clean out cat litter. For what they charge, she should be totally glammed out. Tabatha needs to take this salon over!!!! Sandy, you refused to say your were sorry and this is what you get. I will tell everyone about your bad attitude. Your poor husband, he was so nice on my 1st visit. He came over and introduced himself. And he has nice clothes and looks like he works in a salon not a barn shoveling poo! more

ADRIAN ? The Best hair artist EVER! I found Adrian because I stopped a girl in a restaurant bathroom and asked who did her hair, she said Adrian at Free Spirit, I have been going to him ever since, 16 years later. I cannot express how I feel about Adrian. His passion, knowledge and creativeness is beyond words. I get compliments on my hair ALL the time, I have been stopped by complete strangers and asked who does my hair. I am always so proud to say Adrian because I know he does a great job on everyone. He makes you feel so special, he takes his time and really concentrates on making you the happiest person. He puts his heart and soul into every cut and color. Adrian?s talent continues to amaze me, he is always on the cutting edge of hair fashion and he truly cares that you are 100% happy with your hair when you leave. My sister came in town and Adrian cut, colored and highlighted her hair. She said it was the best cut she has ever had and still struggles to find someone in TN that can cut like Adrian. I keep telling, sorry.. Theirs only ONE Adrian!! I feel so fortunate to have Adrian do my hair. He does not compare to any other hairstylist. He is unbelievably the best in the city. I appreciate his passion and his desire for me to love my hair. Adrian is incredible, a true professional and the absolute best! Dawn more
