Good Eats at Five Guys 8/19/2008

My husband and I have been out food sampling, since it has been to hot to cook at home. We stumbled across Five Guys by accident and we were indeed very pleased. The place was well lit and clean and the staff was most courteous to us. We orderded cheese burgers and fries, which one order was enough to feed both of us. I was expecting a single burger, but to my surprise, it was double meat. I thought they had made a mistake on the order. Nice fresh lettuce and tomato and whatever other toppings you wanted for ""free"". Who doesn't like free extras. I loved it and will return this weekend! I will be surely recommending Five Guys to all my family and friends. Way to go Five Guys! Keep up the good job! Pros: Good food, good location, Two thumbs up !!!!! Cons: Didn't see any more

fresh cut fries! 7/17/2007

My husband and I tried Five Guys on our way to Lowe's this past Saturday. I love fresh cut french fries, and this place has perfected the art of the pomme fritte! Orders are huge, we got the regular and had plenty for two of us. We ordered the cajun style, so the fries were dusted with a delectable, slightly spicy seasoning mix. Fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. They fry in 100% peanut oil, which really adds to the taste. Hubby had a small cheeseburger which was a good size for one person. I had a hot dog which was a 7.5 out of 10. Big plus -- all toppings are free and they have about a dozen to choose from. If you love fries, try Five Guys! Best burger and fries 10/28/2006

The best burger and fries you can get, all around good. The burgers are great, always hot because they don't cook until you order. Everything is out where you can see it, all the cooking is done out where you can see it. Very clean and friendly service. Oh by the way, the burgers are actually double so it's a huge portion for a decent price. Pros: Good, hot, fresh burgers. Cons: Adicitve, no shakes. more
