Love it!!! I've had a lot of success with hair removal, but probably only because I ask the tech's to turn the power up to 100%, which is more painful, but more effective. Topical pain gels like lidocaine are only good in small areas like bikini & armpit but can be toxic over larger areas like the legs. My doctor prescribed Tylenol with codeine to take 3 hours before laser treatment, so I don't jump every time the laser hits a follicle. more

I went there a couple of times for touch-up and found one of the employees was always unprofessional in terms of service - not talking about professional skills. She seems more experienced than others, she however offered me very rude and unprofessional attitudes twice. I felt so uncomfortable both times and I will never come back again. I understand that the fees are relatively inexpensive - just because the poor quality of employees. Cons: very poor service more

I had numerous treatments all over my body at Excy. But after 6 treatments for each part, I still had a lot of hair. I happened to meet someone who owns a spa that has laser hair removal service. Having talked to her, it became obvious that girls at Excy had no idea what they were doing/saying. There are 3 numbers you need to control on the machine. It is all about the combination of those 3 numbers. But, apparently they don't know how to set the right combination for each type of hair. That is why it does not work. Allegedly they do not attend the course, which everyone who operates the machine needs to attend to learn about hair removal treatment, even though their employees come and go incredibly often. I have been going to another spa lately and I am so much happier. Result is better by far, staff's knowledge is totally superior. I know Excy is cheap. But you would end up having to spend more money anyway after a package of 6 sessions. more

I tanned over this summer and tried to do laser hair removal for my arms 1month ago. But the girl i spoke to, said i should wait till my arms get paler, so they can start with stronger laser. \r \r i went back last month to start my treatment and did 2nd treatment last week. im very satisfied with result. i already see many hair reduced.\r \r im spanish. they dont have spanish speakers. but they try to understand me. very nice. i love this place! I was there today for a Brazilian bikini plus abdomen lazer hair removal. I was very impressed by the physical space. The staff is also very polite. So it's a pleasant environment to be in. I've done lazer hair removal before on virtually all my body with all types of equipment and know the procedure and the technology very well. So I know good treatment from bad. At Excy they have a ""rule"" that they will not apply more than a certain number of joules (the energy of the laser) to a new client. This is irrespective of the client's skin and hair type. If you get inadequate joules, you don't get full effect. The technical criteria for effective treatment is perifollicular oedema (a very slight bump around the hair follicule where the laser pulse is applied) within a few minutes. The technician also agreed that I didn't get this. But no matter how much I tried to convince the technician, she could only apologise and say that is their house rule. So I ended up completely wasting 1.5 hours and my money! My result is like a waxing and no more. So unfortunately I have to rate this place as a money trap, despite the beautiful physical environement and the super polite staff. Perhaps they are ""scared"" of using the right energy levels or perhaps they just want you to keepcoming back - if I wasn't technically so well informed, I would very easily have been fooled by my session today. This is absolutely my lovely place.\r I use to get nasty ingrowns on my whole Legs From shaving, so I wanted to get my whole Legs done, was sick and tired of it. \r And I went in for a consultation and discussed everything with me.She suggested that I only start with Lower Legs First, Because I've never done Laser before so..scared. i went there couple weeks ago for my brazilian bikini.\r first it was my first time, and i had many concerns about laser hair removal.. \r \r after free consultation, i felt comfortable about it, so i did treatment.\r \r it works! they explained me that at least i need 6 sessions (6weeks between).\r i made an appointment for my next treatment. i can not wait for my hair would be gone. they did great job.\r more

my hairs are gone now! i have thick black hair and light skin tone ;) 2 more left for my session to go!\r but.. i have to say that store smells like korean restaurant.. not a salon with aloma scent.. may be the owner is korean... but still, they give us nice service and i still like this salon for this cheap!!! more

The most surprising thing was THE PRICE! I have never had great experience such as amenities, treatment, and mostly, the price over there. I have done with under arms which was 50% off of regular price. That was my 1st laser treatment in my life. I was very nervous, but I was surprised it wasn't painful than I expected and didn't take long at all. (maybe it was about 10 minutes) No burn. No redness. No itchiness. You might be able to go to a party or on a date after that! I am 100% satisfied with the result so far.
