Comfort 4/25/2005

If you need some comfort food in this part of town, this is the place to do it. The owners seem to take great pride in what they are doing, and the service is excellent. let's do what we can do to keep the mom and pops alive before they are all replaced by plastic. Good if you're in the neighborhood 2/1/2005

If you're in the neighborhood, this is not a bad bet, if not worth crossing town for. Biscuits and gravy, hash browns, eggs, etc. Are all respectable versions, if nothing especially outstanding. The servers that have been there longer treat you very well, even if new ones are a little shaky. I haven't tried the pancake that seems to be the specialty: if I try that and it's as fantastic as everyone says, maybe I'll come back and modify my review :) more

At Emily's F & M Cafe you will be served the most delicious 'home made' breakfast in Minneapolis. Emily and Elliot are there to serve you. They'll fix your breakfast or lunch, refill you coffee cup and make conversation. They will great you as you enter and thank you as you leave. more
