I know I called you numerous times to ask you different questions----I’m sure one or two of them were repeat questions and I appreciate that you politely answered them again, knowing that I was just stressing out about my upcoming move. This was the first time I had ever heard of Element and I was a little apprehensive about using a smaller company but I was mistaken. You and the rest of the people I spoke with during my recent move all were professional, took the time to explain everything to me in detail, and made sure that I was completely satisfied. You explained that the people doing my move would take good care of my possessions, that they were experts in wrapping furniture up. You weren’t kidding! Not one piece of furniture had a scratch, dent or blemish of any kind on it. That’s impressive! I have moved 5 times in the last 8 years and this move was by far, the best experience I have had. These guys were fantastic. They were quick and efficient and for my things to California in a matter of days. Even though they said it may take long, it didn't. I was able to get the house all set up by the time school started. The delivery driver was so nice. He even helped find my box of sheets so I could make the kids beds that night an d get a good nights sleep. more

Only negative reasons keeping this move from being a 5 star move are packing for several (5 so far, still unpacking) breakable items was poorly done resulting in broken items and pushing/sliding some heavy boxes on new hardwood floors resulted in scratches and scuff marks. Will probably be expensive for us to fix floors. more

They all introduced themselves to me as they walked in, the driver walked through with me and went over everything. I will say this, the driver was the slowest and worked the least. The other two, really busted their rumps! They could have been a little more careful with my belongings. There was a little damage I said on my dressers and table end also my coffee table. Calling that in for a claim would be a waste of my time. All in all a quick and easy experience. I would use them again. They also finished much earlier then quoted, which I knew they would. more

The packers were terrific. The unpackers were less so. They could have been more careful with the boxes and furniture. Many of them were damaged, along with some things inside. They stacked boxes without regard to contents, which collapsed some of the boxes underneath. more

After contacting numerous carriers for estimates and reviewing their ratings, I decided to go with Element even though they were about 5% higher than others. They came out twice to estimate the volume and weight to ensure it was accurate as I wanted a not-to-exceed price guarantee. They were meticulous with the wrapping and packing of all of our furniture. I self-packed all the boxes in advance so they didn't have to do any. However, We had glass table tops and delicate china cabinets that they packed which made the trip without a hitch. The workers were very professional and friendly. We were impressed when the manager came out to the job site to ensure everything was going smoothly. They really care and did a great job. We all hate moving and with all the horror stories about companies holding your belongings hostage for more money at the delivery end, it's no wonder. Element was honest and delivered as advertised. I would highly recommend spending a little bit more for the satisfaction of knowing you're dealing with a professional boutique company that won't keep changing names to avoid bad reviews like many others out there. The Element team moved our synagogue furniture (some very large, as well as delicate items) to and from a local hotel when we moved our services there for Yom Kippur last year. I have also used them for our family's moving needs, laege or small! Having personally moved around the country quite a bit over the last few years and used many different companies, I can not stop expressing my amazement with the entire Element experience. They are honest, punctual, courteous, and most importantly, really good at handling all kinds of items. Elements Moving did an excellent job at packing and moving us to their storage facility while we looked for a house. Then they moved us 3 more times to our new house. I always got the same crew and we always came under their cost estimate because these guys know how to move!! Appreciated their time and patience with us. Will use them again. more

Element Moving and Storage has done three moves for me now. The first time, we didn't really know them at all. We only moved two miles, but they actually packed everything as if I were going cross country! I told them they could just throw it all in the back, but they didn't do that. We are major art collectors with very expensive art, and every single thing got transferred with no issues at all, even without crates (because it was only a couple miles)! Really I have NOTHING negative that I can say about them. That is why I hired them two more times for an office space of ours and a relative's apartment. When we move again soon, they will be the ones we call. more

From the initial contact Element was friendly, informative, willing to work into our schedule and knowledgeable. What they didn't have a an answer for the said they would get back to me AND DID; in a timely manner no less. When the moving crew arrived (on time) they were equally professional and determined to satisfy. Mike, Marco, and Jorge knew what to do and got busy doing it immediately upon arrival; no loitering, no excessive discussions, no smoke breaks, just politely doing what they were there to do. Having moved several times before, with the big national firms as well as the local ones, Element jumps over them all to the top of my list. I've moved houses within the same city multiple times, and moved across the country twice. I used Element on my move from Dallas to San Francisco. They performed as good as any other moving company I've used in the past. But with Element I schedule the move less than two weeks in advance and they were cheaper than anyone else! I would definitely use them again. more
