Thursdays and Sundays in Dunwoody are the BEST nights to go for a good nightlife - pretty busy and the drinks are typically strong. great ambiance and lighting and the music couldnt get better - authentic Live Latin Dance music!\r \r I like going to Buckhead location for a nice quiet lunch on the patio during the week to just relax and enjoy the weather w/ a nice glass of sangria. A very nice ""secret"" for tourists. you have to go down to the very end of Miami Circle before you get there but it's worth it when you find it! more

Once you walk through the door, it feel like you’ve stumbled upon the best-kept secret in the city....an artsy setting as a backdrop with live entertainment and an ambiance not well-matched anywhere else and some of the best Spanish tapas I've ever had. \r \r Great place to come in and relax w/ a glass of wine or sangria..... overall great food, strong drinks and Live Latin ... this is a no brainer. more

live music is awesome!!! great ambiance lighting and overall set-up. Food was delicious!! I had the whole roasted fish with garlic shallots and olive oil at the Buckhead location. best tapas bar I've ever been to hands down and the sangria was really yummy too! more

Food was bad. A few of my calamari were still frozen..... Don't order those!!! Service was horrible as you can read in other reviews. Found the Thursday night music to be really annoying choice very latin pop something from a latin soap opera when I was expecting something more salsa or Cuban. Very dissapointing. Wont go back. more

WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. OUR WAITRESS WAS TOO LAZY TO GET US ANYTHING! SHE KEPT APOLOGIZING SAYING ""SORRY GUYS MY ANKLE IS BROKEN"" THEN DONT COME TO WORK! THAT WAS THE WORST SERVICE, AND I SWEAR I MEAN IT WHEN I SAY THE WORST SERVICE EVER. FOOD ISNT GOOD EITHER. WE RESERVED A TABLE, AND HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR AND 45 MINS TO GET IT. ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS. Don't go for the service.... 10/27/2011

So we went here for a g/f's birthday dinner. Food was decent for the price, our server was decent, but overall it was not the best experience. I checked Eclipse di Luna's website prior to dinner to ensure the took Discover card. Sadly, they don't have payment methods posted on their website, so I did as anyone would do, and checked Citysearch & Yelp for payment options. BOTH websites stated they accepted Discover, only to find out after we'd eaten, that they don't accept Discover. The management pretty much refused to accept responsibility for a website they monitor and update, with apparently the wrong information. Funny how Citysearch states it was updated on 10/15/11, yet the manager said Citysearch must have posted that payment method themselves. Well, A) YOU, as the manager are responsible for your advertising and information on review sites. The moderators don't just ""make up"" information for a restuarant, like the manager tried to BS to me (I've bartended for 8 yrs and know how that stuff works). and B) The problem was on their end, not mine. I came prepared to pay for my meal, and when I told her she should post payment methods on Eclipse di Luna's website she said ""Why would we do that?"".... Only b/c it's logical and you can avoid situations like these.... more

What a bad experience! 6/28/2011

Service was very unfriendly and everything incredibly rushed. The food came out too quickly and was barely warm. We had heard great things about the restaurant and was excited to eat there. I wrote the restaurant about our experience and no response. Would never recommend this place to eat. more

Food is okay but service is amazingly bad 8/22/2010

The tapas are okay and the drinks are good depending on the bartender. No sense of consistency but the biggest problem is the terrible service/treatment of it's patrons. On our first visit we were asked to hurry up and finish half way through our meal because a party of 30 was being sat and they needed the space. We had only been sitting for no more than 30 minutes so we were far from finished. The second time I was told, after we had already been sat, that baseball hats weren't allowed. This was said to me by the manager in a crowded restaurant but the hostess never said a word even though I could have been notified long before we sat down and save me the time and embarrassment. Okay food+bad service+rude people= find another tapas place. more

Not Good 7/11/2010

The outdoor area is really lovely, but the food was very gross. The sangria was very watery. For tapas we ordered the beet and goat cheese salad, the empanadas, ceviche, and gambas al ajillo. They mixed up the goat cheese and beet salad so that the goat cheese appeared a florescent purple color, not the most desirable presentation. I realize it's the beets that make it that color, but didn't think it was necessary for them to make it that color by whipping it into a paste. Gross. The empanadas were no where near authentic, but more resembled something you could get out of the freezer section and deep fried it. The Ceviche was not good, but I'm not a big fan in general. And the gambas were cold and instead of cooking them in garlic it was like they just sliced garlic on top of it for presentation. I hated this place. Pros: Great outdoor area Cons: Food more

1.The ""mojitos"" are very nice it depends on what? bartender does it, no consistency on that.... 2. Service it depends if the owner is their or not... 3. Music the same guitars stuff and in the weekends the same latin bands that play the same music all over every week, nothing fresh!!! Don't believe the wait time they quote 3/12/2010

Arrived at 7:30 pm on a Friday night with a party of 4. They do not take reservations for small parties (<10). was quoted a 45 minute wait. After an 1 and a half hour wait, complained to the hostess after a smaller party that arrived after us was seated. Manager came over and told us that we would be seated immediately (after we complained). Asked why we were not seated earlier and gave no good explanation. We left without eating dinner. Wished we had not spent $$ at the bar waiting on a table. Have eaten here before with a large party and it was good. Apparently, they don't care about smaller parties. Pros: Mojitos are good Cons: Wait time estimates are not good more

Great food. Live music. Cool place 6/8/2009

For my wife's birthday (June 7th), she wanted to eat a spanish cuisine. \r \r So, I went Citysearchin' for spanish restaurants and came across Eclipse Di Luna. The reviews seemed very favorable. \r \r When we got to the restaurant, we were seated immediately. It is not as cozy as I would have liked it to be for the event but it is still a great restaurant. Sometimes, the live music seemed a little loud but it is not ear-drum shattering and you don't have to scream your lungs out trying to talk over it. \r \r The lighting hanging from the ceiling gives it a nice touch at night time. Plus they have places for you to sit outside if you prefer. \r \r Our server, Cooper, was excellent. She was very attentive to her section. I noticed that she would walk up and down every so often looking for drink levels, unused plates, etc and she was quick to remove and refill as necessary. \r \r We had a small amount of ribs as an appetizer and they were delicious. However, the main course, Chicken / Seafood Paella (it has a slightly different name on the menu) was just awesome. I will try the vegetarian Paella next time.\r \r Note: If you don't want leftovers, one order of the Paella dish will serve 2 people. They give you a lot!\r \r Overall, it is a great place and we will be back very soon. Pros: The food and service was great! Cons: None that I could think of at the moment. more

Don't Bother 8/25/2008

My father and his wife were visiting town so I wanted to take them to somewhere fun. I made a reservation so that we would not have to wait around for a table. So much for that idea! We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated after we checked in with the hostess. I honestly do not understand why I even bothered to make reservations. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table if I have made reservations.\r When we were finally seated, we waited around for 10 minutes looking for our waiter. Nobody showed up, so we got up and left.\r The only things else I can say about Eclipse Di Luna is that the music is very loud, you can barely have a conversation. The tables and chairs and very crowded and you can barely walk through to get to your table.\r I will not be coming back. Pros: Interesting vibe Cons: Poor service, tables and chairs too close together, reservations don't mean anything more

The service is extremely quick. The staff as a whole ensures that you are attended to. Just when you think it can't get any better, here comes the food!!!\r \r The Spanish style ribs are a must!!!\r Pros: Price + Taste= Great Time Cons: Anytime after about 8 pm the wait can be a litlle long. more

When can I go back?! 1/13/2008

I don't know if it was the cocktails we had before we had the food, but the food we had there was beyond awesome! We tried the special of the day-quail wrapped in zucchini (although didn't quite get the zucchini-the quail probably decided against it..pretty warm weather that evening...), and couple of other items off the menu-goat cheese stuffed peppers, ceviche and the flan for dessert. My mouth still waters when I try to recall the flavors of the ceviche and the peppers. The flan was near perfection. I hate to describe food using any other adjectives than those meant to describe food, but you will am sure pardon me for calling the flan near perfection, when you too have tasted it. \r \r The atmosphere was great-packed to the hilt with friday night hip, midtowners, but when there's great live music and a mojito to boot, who's complaining?\r \r -Kitchensurfer more

Reservations are not a gurantee but the food is good. 12/29/2007

The place is getting known in this Industrial dead end road. Here is a food joint at the end of the road. They have just redone the parking lot recently. The parking is better now since being repaved and new lines were painted. Before people just parked anywhere. The place has been featured on the news and in the local papers so it is a hot spot. Reservations are not guranteed here but only hold your place in line or get you on the list. I know the bar area is open to anyone so no reservations for that area ever but all other areas do require seating which can be 30 minutes or more of a wait on the weekend. Just keep in mind it is not a white linen place so it is causual and just go with the flow. I would suggest maybe a tip to the person seating folks to get a table faster? It could work for you but this place is so small not much room so if you hate to wait you better go early and not mess around. The music can be very loud. The reason again is that it is so small and I am guessing no more than 5000 sqaure feet if that ? The place is in a industrial building which was a store at one point so the conversion of the space also explains the funky layout. It is for the best of words a hole in the wall place for locals so it has charm. The service from the wait staff has been favorable but they get busy and you have to be agressive to get them to stop and remind them what you want everytime you get a chance. It has grown in favor of the locals so it is now established. So much for an easy wait or quick service unless it goes out of favor. Wonderful Atomosphere 12/4/2007

This is one of my and my girls favorite places to have a girls night out! It is a wonderful place to chill with good people and over good food! The drinks are excellent and worth every penny.\r \r Go and have a good time but make sure to call in for a reservation on Friday Nights...It's Packed! more
