John W. from Doctor Fix It and his furnace tune-up 9/17/2013

Great experience from start to finish. John had the latest equipment ( video etc. ) and showed me and explained to me what he was doing and what we were seeing. He also gave a lesson in how furnaces and connected air conditioning work. We discussed labor requirements and costs for various levels of service, including a new higher efficiency heating and cooling system sometime down the road. John is a true professional, and I would recommend him and Dr. Fix It not only for the periodic furnace checks, but for every level of service required. John was prompt, courteous and highly skilled. If anthing goes wrong with my heating or cooling from now on, I know which company to call and which technician for whom to ask. I rate the service 5 stars. more

Steve was courteous and professional. He was very patient with my elderly mother who is very hard of hearing. I have never seen her take to a contractor so fast. He did a thorough and efficient job. more

Wonderful experience with this great group of people 9/11/2013

September 11, 2013 Great experience with everyone starting with Clauda and continuing onto Claire, Tim M, and Justin B. What a great group of people. Truly there to help with customer service so wonderful that I can not say enough about them. Had emergency situation and everyone did everything possible to help me. Justin came to the house and tried his best to help me with the financial end of the work that needed to be done. Tim Mullen had noticed the inital problem reported from Excel was actually more severe that indicated. My daughter lives in the house and is on oxygen 24/7 and Tim and Justin took great care in my situation and did everything they could. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs electrical work. Due to my financial situation Justin was unable to perform the work however he directed me to another company that would be able to do in house financing. This alone was greatly appreciated. Great bunch of people, the owners should be proud of their employees. Thanks for everything more

Emergency plumbing repair 9/10/2013

I called Dr. Fix It to help repair a plumbing problem in an older home. DJG showed up in the appointment time frame and was very professional in explaining what the problem was and how he would repair it. He is a very personable and knowledgeable young man that knew what he was doing and completed the repair in a very timely manner, cleaned up after and even allowed me to watch so I could learn something new, as while I'm pretty handy around the house, this was above my head a bit. Overall this was as pleasant experience as could be expected under the circumstances. Reasonably priced as well. Would hire them again. more

Trust, A Critical Factor 9/9/2013

As we had done business with Dr. Fix-it previously and appreciated the quick, capable service received, it was a natural to call Dr. Fix-it for our sewer line problem. Jon informed me all the way along during his inspection, explained everything he did, why he did it, and gave me the results. It is important to me to sense a company representative is trustworthy. I certainly had this sense about Jon's experience and his word. more
