Worst experience ever.\r Shopped on Saturday to buy a fridge.\r Took it home and discovered it would not get cold after leaving it on all night.\r I figured Sunday wasnt the best day to tackle this (stupid me so I waited till Monday.\r Of course come Monday I was told that I was out of the 24 hr. return window and we needed to set up a service call.\r Great. Lets set it up.\r No return call on Tuesday so I called back and was told that I would receive a call first thing Wednesday.\r No call on Wednesday.\r Tried to call the store and its closed on Wednesday and Thursday??\r Finally (thank you google) was able to get a hold of the complaint department.\r FYI. They dont take complaints. \r They're job is to connect you to whomever can best make you go away.\r I was transfered to the Service department and told I needed to set up a service call.\r I asked why that wasnt already done and they said I wasnt supposed to call the store. ???\r Now Im waiting to hear back on when they can set up a service call.\r You would think that the fact they sold me an applianc ethat doesnt work would make them a little more motivated.\r JUST STAY AWAY!\r Shop anywhere else.\r Spend a little more money. You wont regret it. more

Lies, Lies, and more Lies. Totally incompetent staff from the bottom feeders all the way to the top bottom feeders in the main office. After you get ping ponged around from one person to the next for weeks you're just supposed to give up. I had a sales person tell me they are taught not to take returns for ANY reason even if you're buying something more expensive. ""We're not in the business of taking returns."" Conn's are the biggest Cons in the market. And forget about the BS of price matching. Price gouging is more like it. Save yourself the hassle and go to Best Buy or Fryes or Sears or the Good Will for that matter. You can't do any worse. I'd give them no stars if I could. BUYERS BEWARE!!! Pros: NONE!!! Cons: YES, THEY ARE! OR SCAM ARTISTS! CHARLETONS! GRIFTERS! more

Conn's is a CONN JOB 12/26/2008

There were several mistakes made by Conn's with my purchase of a new fridge. Mistakes happen, but when Conn's makes them, they do not fix them. I have gotten the 'run around' for a month trying to fix their mistakes - no one takes ownership, their payment systems have conflicting information, they are rude, hang up on you and do not come through on their promises. This has been the single most horrible service I have ever received - please do not be completely screwed by Conn's - they are truly a CONN JOB! more

Bad customer service 9/26/2008

I bought a stove from Conn's. When I got it home and removed it from the box, it was damaged. I called the store right away to let them know. The sales lady was very rude and pushy. She then transfered me to the ass't manager who assured me they would make it right. I am still waiting. I have called several times. I have talked to the ass't manager as well as the manager. Bottom line is they aren't going to do anything and I am stuck with a new damaged stove. I would expect this from a scratch and dent store and I probably would have been better off going to one of those instead of Conn's. Buyers beware. more

Conns is very pushy and lies regarding extended warranties... 8/30/2008

On August 27th, I visited a Conn's for the my first time. My intentions was to buy a TV, in which I did.\r In going thru the paperwork, My salesman asked me at least six times to purchase the extended warranty which I refused. During this time, in an indirect way, he called me stupid three times, by saying ""your stupid for not buying this"". He also treated me very rude. Looking back, I should have gotten up and walked away, I don't know why I did not. The salesman also tried to sell me $50 worth of cable that I did not need.\r In looking thru my paperwork, I notice that the salesman added an ""insurance policy"" to cover the TV I purchased. In reading thru this paper when I got home, it shows that this is a ""voluntary"" action on my part. The salesman informed me that this was part of the credit process.\r I will be canceling this ""insurance policy"".\r I will NEVER go into a Conns again, nor will I suggest to others to shop there.\r I walked in and every thing I looked at I was bombarded by sales people. Sales Staff Lies 6/11/2008

We built a new home in Leander and went to Conn's in Cedar Park to by some new appliances. We bought a new high-end washer and dryer. We also bought a new refrigerator and LCD TV that were both sold as ""new"" floor models. The washer and dryer were sold as a ""pair"" with rebate from the manufacturer. They were not a pair and at first the manufacturer denied the rebate. After explaining what had happened Whirlpool did send us a rebate. Kudos to them for doing something they did not have to do. The new LCD tv was delivered without power cord, remote or paperwork. The delivery crew was very appoligetic and told us that they had voiced their concern to the store. We went back to the store and were told by the salesman that we were ""stuck"" with the TV but he would get us a remote and power cord, which he did. Sould have bought the new one I originally looked at instead of buying the salesmans lie about returns. Lastly, it has been over 3 months and we are stilll waiting on our delivery rebate from Conn's. We will never buy anything else from this store or any other Conn's. more

THEY DONT LIVE UP TO THEIR PRICE GUARANTEE!! 1/25/2008

I purchased a refrigerator from them and 2 weeks later Fry's advertised the same fridge for $130 less. They wouldnt match, wouldnt refund and wouldnt return my calls. \r \r I am extremely frustrated by their lack of customer service and false advertising. more
