QUICK CUT TURNED SPA!!! 4/22/2007

I went in for my monthly hair cut and wax from Rebecca. It was the first time I had been to the 'NEW' place. OH MY GOSH!!! It's gorgeous! When you walk in you feel like you've walked into a beautiful, old Midtown home. It is so welcoming and serene. I had some extra time, so i got a manicure, a pedicure, and a facial! Holy cow.....Lisa gives one hell of a facial!! I walked out of the facial room feeling more relaxed than I ever thought possible, AND my skin looked fresh! Now I'm gonna have to go back for a foot detox and massage. I love this new place, you can get anything you want!!!! AND MORE! Fun atmosphere and not pretentious. 4/6/2007

I found Cloud Nine before it became a day spa and it has moved into a gorgeous space next door. Rebecca, the owner is very talented and she will make sure that it is done right. It may be worth your while to get your business done before you arrive because once you are there, it may take longer than the amount of time you have alloted for beauty treatments. Allow for 2 hours to color and cut, so bring your favorite book. The team there is really excellent and experienced so it is worth your while. Rebecca has a great team who are all talented and so you are in good hands when you walk in the door.The clients are enjoying themselves so it is a fun atmosphere and not "uppity" or pretentious. Awesome Style! 1/26/2007

I just got my hair cut done by Rebecca. She's awesome! She did an incredible job. I have always hated getting my haircut until now. I always dreaded it. She's funny and the atmosphere is great there. I will be getting my hair done by her regularly now! Pros: Great atmosphere, fun to talk to, awesome skill! Cons: none more

Just what I was looking for... 12/30/2006

I got a great haircut at Cloud 9! Sara was really knowledgeable about hair styling, and I left with a really sharp haircut. She even worked me in when they were closed! In addition, the space has a really quirky / comfortable vibe. Highly recommend it!!! more

beauty day or football day? 10/11/2006

gosh....the stylist was great.....(sarah kay), i looked fabulous upon completion, HOWEVER....i had to sit through 2 hours of FOOTBALL! on a saturday.....for goodness sake. i choose my beauty appointments on days i want to get away from my husband and sports. they should rename the salon to a sports motiff. i'd rather hear music or stimulating conversation. for sports, i go to arenas, not hair salons. Excellent atmosphere, excellent service 7/30/2006

Cloud 9 is a fun, quirky, hip hair salon that has never failed to impress me. I have gotten several different styles there and several different colors and each have looked good from the day they were done until months later when I went back for the next. Beyond the great talent the shop itself is small and intimate, the people fun and friendly. A friend recommended this place to me and since I've started going there I've been recommending it to all my other friends. It really is the best of the midtown salons. I went to get my highlights and haircut and check out the new Cloud 9, and I have to say: Rebecca did an awesome job (not only with my hair, but the place looks amazing)! The place is super cool, very beautiful decor, feels like a spa from the East Village from NYC (I lived in NYC for 6 years before coming to Memphis, and this is the one and only place in Memphis that I trust for haircut and color after many bad experiences). I got a spa pedicure, had some wine, and had a great time talking to the girls. They did a great job! I can't wait to go back and get a massage and a facial. Congratulations on the new place, it is really nice! And as usual, you have the BEST service in Memphis for spa treatments and hair. Super cool Midtown 5/24/2006

I had just moved to Memphis and I was a little concerned about where ro go. I read a review that said Rebecca was awesome. I went in with a wreck of a head and...simply put, she fixed it! There are only two girls in the shop and they both made me feel comfortable and welcome. The back yard is an awesome place to let your color cook. Come in,be pampered, and learn a thing or two about hair care. They won't let you leave without giving you some knowledge about how to care for your hair!! CHECK IT OUT! Memphis' Hidden Secret! 3/28/2006

I took a chance and made an appt here without knowing anyone who'd gone there before - and it turned out great! I got a partial highlight with 2 colors and a cut done by Rebecca. Not only does she talk to you about the look you want, but also about your hair type and health. The color was incredible and less than other midtown and downtown salons. I love the cut and color and would now highly recommend anyone head over to Cloud Nine. The outside appearance is deceiving-Its a small salon in a sorta hidden location, but is the best cut and color I've had in years! Pros: Great cut and color, So friendly, Cost more

First timer! 3/27/2006

I had never been to Cloud 9, but a friend recommended me. I was not sure exactly what I wanted, but i knew it had to be different. I went in for hightlights and a cut. My hair was pretty blah, and I needed something professional for when I get out of graduate school. Rebecca made me look fabulous! It didn't cost me a fortune either. She told me what products to use and why to use them, without selling me stuff I didn't need. She was great and taught me a little about how to care for my hair! Thanks!!!! I had a horrible haircut from another salon. I went to cloud 9 after reading some reviews. Sara Kay cut my hair and made me look incredible! It was rather remarkable since the last place I went screwed it up so badly! It's easy to fix, takes no time at all and the salon is very laid back and fun. I highly recommend the place and her! Only two girls work there and they make you feel like family. It's cool!!! Pros: appts. avail., atmosphere!!, well priced more

Who has time to spend 30 minutes on their hair anymore? Rebecca can make you look fabulous in a matter of minutes! She will help you find a cut and style that fits you and your schedule. She really cares about the health of your hair too. Not only does she make it look good, she teaches you how to keep it looking good! She even told me to call her at home if I couldn't figure out how to do my hair. Forutnately, it was a cinch, no phone call was necessary!! GO SEE HER, SHE ROCKS! (brows to die for too!) Rebecca @ Cloud 9 is just great!! She can make a masterpiece out of your hair. Not only does she do great hair, but she really cares about you and your hair. She always has a suggestion about a product that ACTUALLY makes your hair healther, but there is NO sales pressure!! I have damaged my hair for over 20 years by perms and bleach, but since going to Cloud 9 and Rebecca, I've never had healthier hair and it looks GREAT!! WAY TO GO REBECCA!!
