I've been shopping at this store since 1994 and why you ask?! Because I felt I had to - the inventory is great... from vintage to just hand to find accessories. But since I was a teenager the awful lady that must own the store has rubbed me wrong every single time. Some, only some, examples:\r
\r
Young sister came in, ""we don't allow unsupervised kids in here!"" Lady - your store is the size of my shoe - she will not hurt anything... and she is 4 I am not letting her go for anything\r
\r
Friend had capped bottle of soda in hand when she walked in ""You either have to pour that out or leave"" - I'll just put it in my purse - ""Pour it out or leave""\r
\r
In for Halloween shopping, was taking something downstairs to upstairs ""You can't take the up there! Leave it here."", instead of a nice ""I'm sorry can you leave that down here while you look? We've had a lot f theft problems"" \r
\r
There is NO customer service in her body... though the young people that work for her are very pleasant ad helpful - I feel bad for them though - if she treats her customers with this regard, imagine what they get.\r
\r
Stick with a good old fashioned goodwill/salvation army - or stop at Annies on Brady, Yellow Jacket, also on Brady or anywhere else!
Pros: vintage, great variety, new, 2 floors, awesome location
Cons: the owner
