Chenal Hwy 10 Storage

I am not the "normal" customer to be using this storage shed. We are currently living in Japan for three years. We have had a unit there for 9 months and the staff and professionalism of this establishment has been very helpfull to our needs, that would not be a typical customer. They have been attentive and suportive when ever I call back to the states with any questions or concerns. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is in need of a storage unit. more

I am the Operations Manager for the Storage Facility listed here and felt it was appropriate to respond to the first comment that was posted to this site about our facility. The situation above (and yes we know who it is due to the email address and the statement itself) did not happen the way that it has been presented here. The customer that wrote the above about our facility did not turn in a notice, did not follow the procedures for vacating and was not charged for any time that he did not use. Secondly, I will not apologize for my faith but I don't normally bring it up unless someone else does. This customer came in and was having personal problems and opened up to me and my wife about it, we (he included) are christians and we attempted to encourage this person in their time of need using scriptures to assist him. Obviously he is offended by our attempt at support and instead of keeping this on a professional level has decided to take this to a public forum for dissemination amongst strangers and potential customers. About our Facility, We have one of the largest selections of unit sizes and types in Little Rock, for over 4 years our management has maintained one of the highest occupancy rates in the State of Arkansas and have faithfully served thousands of satisfied customers in the years we have managed this facility. We also operate a Penske truck leasing operation that won "Best in Customer Service" in 2007 along with a Contract United States Post Office. Our standards are high when it comes to assisting customers and if you stop in and visit you will see why. Our state-of-the art facility is maintained with you the customer in mind. We are open 7 days a week and only close on or near Federal Holidays. We clearly explain our policies and procedures to all new customers and provide written copies of our lease and vacate policies so that we don't have issues like the one described above. Avoid Chenal 10 Storage if at all possible. I rented three of their units for over two years. I had moved out of state and it took time for me to travel back and forth to empty my units and transfer my stored items. When it came time to move out I was advised that I had to fill out a form declaring that I was moving out 30 days before hand. I did this five different times. After moving out and following all of their requests, sweeping out the unit, leaving the door open and returning their locks.....they continued to charge my debt card for three months. They are difficult to work with and very arogant. The only thing they want is your money and they try to come up with excuses why they deserve it. I had to cancel my debit card in order to stop them from charging it montly....after I had been moved out for three months. They also are very pushy with their faith. I am a Christian however I do not practice the same faith as they do and they always attempted to push their faith on me. There is plenty of other storage facilitys in the area.
