They were incredibly careful not to damage my old/new apartments. The disassemble all the furniture that were too big , and wrapped them very nicely. Excellent Movers In a word - excellent. I used Certified Movers - NY Best Movers because I had used them before and been very satisfied with the service. This time, I was even more impressed with their care for my belongings. We had to move nothing but antique furniture that has been in my family for a number of years. Many of the pieces were over 100 years old. Some of them were very heavy and bulky. I was very nervous about this move because of the fact that we were dealing with antiques. An antique china cabinet was my biggest worry because of the bowed glass on the piece. If anything happened to that glass, it would be nearly impossible to replace. All of the pieces would be costly to try to replace or repair if they were damaged in any way -- and all of them held enormous sentimental value to me - so if they were harmed the emotional loss would also be great. When Mike and his crew arrived, I expressed my concerns to them, and they assured me they would be very careful and everything would be ok. They assessed the situation - we weren't moving everything from the house, and part of what we were moving was going to my condo while other items were going to storage. This was a corporate paid move from New York to Baltimore, MD on April 30th of this year. We set everything up through Jennifer on April 15th and went over an inventory list and compared our in home estimates to that list and tweaked it over the next few days. Their quote was a little higher than one of the estimates and considerably lower than the other. These guys were the best possible company I could have chosen to move my family and I from New York City.
