This was a return trip... and a good one. There are slim pickin' in Midtown, on the east side... especially after the Khaki crew leaves and Bloomingdales closes. But this place is a find. The staff is as friendly as leprechauns... and as Irish. With a decent beer selection (They had Sam Adams Octoberfest... on tap), and a nice, if not especially innovative appetizer selection (the Super Hot wings were hot enough... but the HOT, nahw...), you can nicely fill up here. The crew was accommodating, holding us a table in a prime spot and then letting us shift furniture when others showed up. This is not a part of town to go beer (or bar) hopping, but if you find yourself thirsty, and it's late, you can't do better than this place. --Drink Club NYC is a roving group of NYC drinkers... a different bar every week
