I have rentals so I have used the folks at Carpet Source a number of times over many years. They are always top notch both in terms of price and service. They actually show up on time. They are heads and shoulders above the competition. more

From the first phone conversation with Carpet Source through the completion of the installation, the process was a great experience. The quality of the carpet meets our expectations, and the installation was quick and extremely well done with no mess or clean up needed on our part. The two man installation crew arrived on time and obviously were well trained and well experienced. 3 large rooms and two large closets were completed to our complete satisfaction in less than 3 hours. more

I needed new carpet for my office and I needed it fast. Don, the owner gave me same day service and came to me with carpet samples. I ordered my carpet and it was installed the next day and it looks great. The price was better than the other carpet companies I had gone to and it was carpet from the same manufacturers. I would wholeheartedly recommend Carpet Source to anyone looking for the highest quality product at the best prices with excellent customer service. Not to mention REASONABLY priced. I got 5 bids. One was the same and the others were all much higher. The owner and installer called when they were running late. The job was well done and they did it in no time. I definitely recommend Carpet Source to anyone. more

There were a few reasons why I chose this company out of all the others in Albuquerque. The numerous positive reviews, however, commanded a lot of attention. Unfortunately, this turned out to be another one of those companies that gives business in New Mexico a bad name. I arranged a month in advance for the installation, as this is the lead-time I need to get away from work. Don was helpful on the front-end, helping me to choose the carpeting. On the morning of the installation, I get a call from the installer--not Carpet Source--telling me he couldn't make it and that someone else would be found. It took the better part of the day trying to get this confirmed, yet at no point did Carpet Source phone me. Instead, I called them no less than four times, looking for assurance that this job would get done on this day. I was even told at 9:00 am that Don would phone me, but that never happened. Fearing that this wouldn't get done in the course of a day--and knowing it would be another month before I could take a day off--I literally pulled all the old carpet, matting, and glue myself (at no cost savings to me, mind you) and put it in the driveway. It was back-breaking, but I didn't want to risk having the installer come late in the day and end up doing a lousy job, as he might be tired or wanting to go home. Over the course of the day, I was told the installer would be here by 3:00. Come 4:30 PM, no installer. More calls to the company ... Anyhow, the installer eventually arrived, but it was awkward for both of us. I was mad, yet he and I both noted this had nothing to do with him. They did a good job. Through it all, Carpet Source has never called to check-in or to acknowldedge their role or responsibility in all of this. Simply amazing. What really made this painful was the next door neighbors were having flooring done on this same day. Their crew arrived on time and they were completed and gone before my installer ever arrived. So, $4000 for carpet, a day of lost wages, 2 Advil to treat back pain, and the cost of boarding the dogs (what started out being for a day, but turned into an overnight stay). At least it's done, albeit into the evening. All I know is that if I ran my business like this, I would be out of business. more

Carpet Source was excellent, and they did a really good job. They re-carpeted the stairwell and the entire upstairs, which included 4 bedrooms, the hallway, and some closets. We had been out of the country and had been renting our home. The tenant had 2 dogs and were also taking care of our 2 cats. I had put the cheapest carpet in when we built our house and knew it was a good time to re-carpet when we had no furniture in our home. Because we were still abroad, Don at Carpet Source made YouTube videos of the carpet options based on what I wanted with the color and with my paint. He explained through the videos everything about the carpets, including the warranties that came with each one. He showed us everything. I was very impressed by the level of service. Don worked with the property manager to get the key to the house and did everything before we got back from being abroad. When I came back I was really pleased with the work. He put in the padding and the carpet as he said, and I am really happy. It worked well for us, and the service was spectacular. Of course there is a risk and fear when work is done when you are not at home, but it worked well for us to do it when the house was empty. Carpet Source did a really good job, and I was really impressed. more

Don from Carpet Source came and looked at my floor and actually recommended that I just have someone else do some stripping on it. It was very nice of him, because he could have tried to sell us a new floor. Instead, he said mine was in good shape and gave us the name of someone to do the strip. Carpet Source were very reasonable and professional. When they first came out, the manager Don came out himself. He was very professional and took accurate measurements. I had left a message asking them to bring several pieces of colors I wanted, and as a result, I was able to find the exact colors I wanted, so I was pleased with that. Don got everything done in 25 minutes and got all the info I wanted down. They even beat Lowe's and Home Depot's prices with a higher quality pad and carpet. He was courteous and just all the way around pleasant. I thought that was going to be the most I could expect from a service in today's world. Then the installers came out, and oh my goodness, Paul was incredible and his installers did an incredible, hard working job. They were due to arrive at 10:30, but they were hear 15 minutes earlier. I've had repairmen in the past now show up or get here a couple hours late, but it was not like that at all. They were courteous and professional when they got here. They tore up my old carpet in a timely manner and swept up the concrete before laying the new carpet down. There was a small problem at the door of the bathroom, where the carpet had not been put down right and was coming up, so I got Paul to come over, and he fixed it right then. I just can't say enough good things about them. I was extremely pleased, very pleased, and like I said, not just with Paul but also his three other workers. They worked as a group and were extremely fast. They were in and out in a total of three hours, having torn up my old carpet, laid down my new one, and cleaned. Right now, my husband and I are so pleased, and it has a lifetime installation warranty just in case. Everything looks great. more

We called to get a next-day service and Carpet Source was the first one to respond back saying they could do next-day service. Carpet Source changed the carpet in a bedroom. I would very highly recommend Carpet Source! I am actually going to use them again! more

Carpet Source was very good from start to finish. They worked with us to pick out our carpet and within a couple of days the installers came in to install our carpet. They were extremely careful with our paint and cleaned up after themselves. They were also very professional and efficient. I was very satisfied with their services and I would recommend them to anyone. more

We had a great experience with Don coming out and helping us to choose the right carpet. When Carpet Source ordered the carpet they ordered a lower grade than we wanted. Don immediately offered us the grade above what we originally ordered plus he upgraded the pad, without charging us anything extra. Yes they made a mistake, but they fixed it and more. First of all, Carpet Source was extremely prompt and showed up when they were scheduled to. They were quick, very efficient, and very clean. I am very happy with the carpet. It is just very beautiful work that they did. It is probably one of the better carpet companies I have worked with. I will recommend them.
