Outstanding, would recommend them! 7/1/2014

Carl's Van Rentals is beyond a 5 star company. I have been using them for about 10 years and they always go above and beyond to accommodate. Twice a year, I do an autographic convention called Spooky Empire. Actors and celebrities fly into Los Angeles from all of the the place. I have Carl's Van Rentals transport them from the airport to the hotel. They also transport to the different events. They have amazing 18 passenger vans and have always been there for me-even at the last minute. I can not say enough about them. The service is outstanding! more

Great experience! I rented a vehicle through another company, got a confirmation, arrived at the airport only to find that they gave my van to someone else. I called Carl's and they saved my vacation with a van that was less money than anywhere else I found! Thank you, guys! You saved me and my family from a disastrous vacation! more

AVOID 11/15/2012

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Let's start with getting picked up at the airport...showed up 20 minutes late to pick us up at the airport, then upon arriving at Carl's in Orlando we piled out of the shuttle to find the driver never closed the door where all of our luggage was stored for the drive! You've gotta be kidding me right? Luckily no one lost any luggage en route.\r \r Next, the van that was given to us barely had enough gas in it to get out of the parking lot (which I'm fully sure they charged the previous customer at there outrageous gas rate to fill it after returning empty) and the van had some terrible stench. Riding down a hot highway with the windows down because of an awful smell is not a great way to start a vacation. \r \r During the week we found out that our flight had been pushed back by a couple hours, so we got in contact with Carl's to see if it was a big deal if we brought back the van a couple hours late. Carl's Van is one of the most unprofessional businesses that I have ever had the displeasure of working with. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY REASON!! Me and my family recently rented a vehicle from them and paid the extra charge ""they call it a convienence charge"" to have it available at the airport. We returned it to the airport in pristine condition. Later we recieved a bill for $350.00. They claimed that we dented the van which I know for a fact we did not. They sent me pictures to ""prove"" that we smashed it basically calling me a liar. I don't know if it got smashed in the airport parking lot or they sent me a picture of another smashed vehicle but either way this family owned business is staffed by crooks. DO NOT USE THEM. There are plenty of reputable dealers that will handle your business with respect and good customer service. Go elsewhere! more

My family and I had a great time renting from Carls; they were really nice and the price fit our budget perfectly! We had more people coming with us this time for our vacation and they were able to get us a van with just a short notice. And when we ended with more people coming, they were able to switch us to an even larger van without crazy up charges. Once we had our vehicle picked out the shuttle driver loaded our bag up for us (I feel sorry for the guy, we had a lot of bags!) My family and I, and even some friends now, will be renting from Carls again in the future! Thank you, Carls! more

Had a great time renting from them. Myers was great to work with! No problems at all. The shuttle ride to their location wasn't too bad; took about 10 minutes or so. We will be renting from them again in the future. more
