Stopped in for an Espresso and left there after having a Great Crepe to go with my coffee.. Yum! Great place to sit for a while or stop for a quick drink. There were others that...

Ok, so I've been to Paris & eaten plenty of crepes all across Europe including trying them here in Seattle at other establishments. I read the wonderful reviews of this cafe and ...

Absolutely Wonderful 7/4/2005

When my wife and I stopped in here on her birthday we weren't sure what to expect. What we found was amazing service, the friendliest waitress I have ever had, a chef that came to our table and personally explained all of the amazingly decadent dessert crepes on their menu, and a romantic evening for two that could not have been better. This is truly a must visit and we will certainly be going again...soon. Pros: Atmosphere, Service, Food Cons: Parking more

Declaree' for my Birthday! 6/30/2005

This café was a gem hidden in the Fisher Plaza (across from the Space Needle). The waitress was attentive to the point of feeling like a friend, the chef came to greet us and wish me a Happy Birthday, the food was served in a very timely manner, interesting interior design on ceiling and nice silverware and plate choices. I had special attention for my birthday and yet was not made a big deal over like they do at those clap and stomp restaurants. I loved my dinner crepe, unsure until my first bite. Oh my heavens...then the desserts were both so yummy. We were surprised that more people weren't dining in this restaurant until we found out it was still new, so I'm here to say to run, don't walk to Café Darclée! They do all meals and seemingly good live music also (from description). Pros: Food, Service, Value more

Great European caffee 5/25/2005

Definitely a place where you're going to experience European ambiance. Classy, intimate ambience, good food, great coffee too. Pros: Good food, Inexpensive more

European sophistication 5/20/2005

If you want to find out how a proper European crepe should taste like, Cafe Darclee is the place to go. Very sophisticated compositions of high quality ingredients and a wide selection of crepes at Cafe Darclee could satisfy the most demanding food enthusiasts. The extraordinary service completes the experience and makes this romantic cafe a place to fall in love with. Pros: quality of food, service more

New York Style style comes to Seattle! 5/15/2005

I have recently moved from New York to Seattle and frankly was plesantly surprised when discovered Cafe Darclee, a place beautifully designed with deliciously healthy crepes, soups, salads completented by very well selected vine list. It is skillfully designed to be both a kids friendly place during the day while transformed to a sumptuos night friends gathering place in which you can actually talk without beeing overwhelmed by the loud ""backgroud"" music. I can survive in Seattle with Cafe Darclee! Pros: Ambience, Food, Service more

vacation with my son 5/15/2005

I took my son to Seattle for his 10th birthday present. we happened to stumble into this great little cafe. We had never had crepes before but let me tell you by the time we left we couldn't wait to come back for more. My son likes to cook so Steven and Dana let him come back and watch him make crepes. What an experience. We ate there again right before we got on our plane to go home. Wish we had such a great place back home. Excellent! Pros: great food, staff is great, atmosphere more

Taste of Europe 5/12/2005

Excelent service, dedicated chef, perfect location. Oh... did I mention the crepes? Happy hour boasts 1/2 priced champaigne cocktails and the coffee... noting tastes like a proper italian espresso! Be prepared for a trully sophisticated experience. more

Bit of Europe by the Seattle Center 5/5/2005

My boyfriend and I have been to Cafe Darclee now four or five times and every time it has been wonderful start to yummy chocolate drizzled dessert crepe finish. The coffee reminds me of the coffee that we had in Rome and the crepes are simple, but delicious (really high quality cheeses and meats). Order a cafe breve to go and then go and stroll off dessert with a nice little walk through the Seattle Center....a perfect evening! Pros: Romantic, Great food, Good wine list more

Yum Yum Yum 3/27/2005

Cafe Darclee is yummy. We'd been looking for a good place for Crepes in Seattle that is a little closer to Uptown than the crepe place at the market and today we found it. Dana, the owner served us herself and made us feel incredibly welcome. The crepes were fantastic as was the soup and the coffee. The ham that was in the crepe reminded me of the ham that you normally get in Europe instead of the US. So rich and tasty. In addition the prices are very reasonable for what you get. We didn't get a chance to sample the wine, but the wine list was impressive and seemed very affordable. If you have a chance definitely check out Cafe Darclee! Pros: Quality and Flavor, Service, Price more

Try their crepes... 2/26/2005

I just returned from my vacation in Seattle and I was very impressed about food and services at Café Darclee. I highly recommend their crepes. Pros: crapes, ambience, services more

surprise party for all of us 2/24/2005

If you've ever considered throwing a surprise party for one of your shy friends. Make the surprise gentle. He may never forgive you for placing them at the center of such a concentrated burst of attention. You need to ease them into the surprise situation. One option is to have a daytime party, where the guests are more relaxed and not so pumped. A party that we held during the day at cafe Darclee was very relaxed and enjoyable not only for our birthday friend but for kids in the company as well. Everything was delight. Vine was pared with food perfectly; desert with caramelized apples was superb. And atmosphere was very tempting and relaxed, art glass, light, shadows created unusually sophisticated interior. Instead of being a horrendous and concentrated source of stress during your birthday at home I will recommend going to Darclee. Pros: Inexpensive, Stylish, Good meeting place more

Go and see for yourselves! 2/22/2005

Cafe Darclee has a very unique atmosphere to it that I encourage everybody to discover. I enjoyed every minute I spent there: the coffee is the best I have ever tasted, the crepes melt in your mouth (literally). I also found them very nutritious, there are many good vegetables and delicious meat in these crepes. They also offer desert crepes that are just as good ... just writing about makes my mouth water! Another reason to go to Cafe Darclee is the atmosphere that this place has to offer: the music that they play, the interior design, everything is conducive to having a good, relaxed time. This is a great place for a first date, too! Or for a second!... For dating in general, since the atmosphere tends to be very warm, calm, romantic. Pros: great coffee, nutritious food, inexpensive Cons: no sodas more
