If you've ever considered throwing a surprise party for one of your shy friends. Make the surprise gentle. He may never forgive you for placing them at the center of such a concentrated burst of attention. You need to ease them into the surprise situation. One option is to have a daytime party, where the guests are more relaxed and not so pumped. A party that we held during the day at cafe Darclee was very relaxed and enjoyable not only for our birthday friend but for kids in the company as well. Everything was delight. Vine was pared with food perfectly; desert with caramelized apples was superb. And atmosphere was very tempting and relaxed, art glass, light, shadows created unusually sophisticated interior. Instead of being a horrendous and concentrated source of stress during your birthday at home I will recommend going to Darclee.
Pros: Inexpensive, Stylish, Good meeting place
