Save your money. I could go into great detail about the ridiculous upselling (way more than just the usual callus remover pitch you get at most nail salons), the pathetic attempt...

Great nail salon in Buckhead 2/16/2012

I was really impressed with this nail salon. It is much nicer inside than most nail salons and it is located in the heart of Buckhead on Roswell Rd near Genki, so it is in a really convenient spot. I had a really relaxing pedicure with a good massage and loved my gel polish manicure. I even saw their staff help a woman put her scarf and coat on and carry her stuff out to her car to help prevent her from messing up her nails, which I thought was great customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone. more

Save your money. I could go into great detail about the ridiculous upselling (way more than just the usual callus remover pitch you get at most nail salons), the pathetic attempt at a shoulder massage, the pandering for a tip, but why bother? The most important thing to know about the manicure and pedicure I received is that if you looked at my cuticles right now, you would never know I just got a manicure two days ago. Also, you can see through the polish on some of my toenails. And, there is polish on my toes...I could have done a better job than this place! more

This place is AWFUL 8/8/2011

This was THE WORST mani/pedi I have ever gotten!!! I made an appointment a week earlier than when I went. First off, I paid the parking because they don't tell you that you don't have to until you get to the front door. I get inside and I wait over 15 minutes, even though I had an appointment. I had the $25 Groupon and I had read great reviews so I was excited to maybe find a new nail place. When I eventually was sat, I was just left in a chair for 15 minutes unattended. Then a lady finally came by and put water into the foot tub...and then I sat again....for 25 minutes. They were so understaffed it was ridiculous. My feet were pruny by the time someone came over to take care of me. The lady I was given was terrible. She only massaged one leg and she barely filed or shaped my toenails. She painted all over my toe skin and missed part of the actual nail. My mani was even worse. She didn't file my nails or even trim the cuticles....and she got paint everywhere. When she asked ""It ok?"" I said ""no! this isn't ok at all""...she just kept saying it would be better after the second coat...it wasn't... I ended up having to take all the polish off when I got home and re-file and paint my nails...I was furious... I get uncomfortable being rude, so I didn't say anything...and I wish I would have. I ended up spending over $40 after parking, the up charge for callous removal (ridiculous because most places do it for free) and tip. Such a waste of money and such a horrible establishment. NEVER EVER GOING BACK!!! And they were really dirty too...My pumice stone didn't even look washed and the girls around me were all disgusted with their dirty foot tubs...no wonder they were on groupon.... more

NOT worth it! 7/27/2011

I was so excited to see Groupon feature a local nail spa mani/pedi/stone massage deal for $25, I had to get two! My boyfriend and I made an appointment 7:00pm on Monday, July 25, 2011. When we arrived, there was some kind of card issue being cleared up at the front with another customer, so I waited to be greeted with instructions (""sit, one minute, sign in"" etc.). After 15 minutes went by and the customer at the front had left, so did everyone else at the front of the salon EXCEPT a child (who appeared to be helping st the salon). She was THE FIRST person to acknowledge our presence and asked us to ""sit anywhere"" in the spa chairs. As we took off our shoes and prepared for relaxation, the same little girl came over and began to fill the foot tubs. As she was filling the tub, I could obviously see that there was oil still in the tub which gave me the impression that the tub may not have been thoroughly cleaned. At this point I was concerned about the professionalism and cleanliness of this place. However, I didn't want to complain, I just wanted my mani/pedi. The little girl finally finished filling the tub with water, but it was SCALDING HOT!!! When I asked if she could add some cold water, she didn't know how to work the knobs. She asked a technician next to us for help and she gave the the stare of death as if I had asked for something unreasonable. She clearly had an attitude and reluctantly helped. I wanted to be pleased at this point, but it was going on 7:30 and with 13 clients and 8 technicians working, we figured that we were going to wait. I also noticed that most of the clients had groupons and appointments, but they seemed to be short on staff to accommodate everyone in a timely manner. The nail techs finally started working on us at 7:40pm. At this point, there was a woman next to us with her niece that was furious with the service that she received. She complained about the nail tech working on her (who appeared to be the manager). She complained that she had been there since 6pm and she still hadn't had her manicure due to the technician ""walking away"" and dealing with other things. I immediately became uncomfortable because the technician was more interested in telling the customer excuses that listening and trying to fix the problem. The two began to argue loudly with the customer insisting to speak to a manager/owner and the technician refusing saying that the ""manager was not there and could not be contacted by phone."" The customer was so disappointed in the experience because the poor service that she was receiving had already been paid for. Unfortunately, I began to feel the same way. It was obvious that this business was unprofessional because the angry technician went to complain to another customer about the dissatisfied woman (while the angry customer complained to another tech). I almost didn't write this review because I felt like the other woman was having a way worse experience than I was, but it was $50 that was already spent that I wish I had spent somewhere else! My experience of scalding hot water burning my feet, my boyfriend being cut TWICE by a seemingly untrained young tech, my sub par paint job and the tacky professionalism of the rude non-""manager"" was too much for me. I also noticed that there were only 4 technician's licences displayed in the salon, but many more than 4 techs working...hmmm Overall, the spa looked great, but I will NEVER go back. $50 WASTED! more

Loyal customer!! 3/1/2011

My roommate and I go together to see Helen and Tina every 4 weeks. We always call in advance and we are always welcomed with a smile. I'm surprised to see the negative reviews about BN&T. We're in the beauty industry as well, so we're always sending our clients to the Spa. The decor is comfortable and they ALWAYS take their time with us. I would definitely recommend giving this spa a shot! more
