The owner is BSC. But, this place is famous now I guess. Good costumes though, some possible copyright infringement via character usage. But, I'm no lawyer so I won't pass judgeme...

I won $1000.00 for best costume at the MGM grand in Las Vagas with a Bruna Costume! 6/10/2008

I made plans to go to Bruna to have a costume made.My friends are all men, into dressing like woman. We just love it. My destination was Las Vagas. The event was the Mardi gras party in Feb. 08. Pros: you won't see anyone with the same costume! Cons: order early more

I needed a costume for my daughter for a play. I had already purchased the pattern and the fabric. Adrianna, the manager of Bruna Costumes is a graduate of the parsons school of design in New York. She showed me how to cut out the pattern pieces and how to sew them. She didn't ask for any money in return, she was just glad to help. I really should have just rented the costume, it cost me more to make it. Pros: professional quality authentic costumes more

If you are looking for theatrical quality costumes, Bruna Costumes is the right place. The manager is a graduate of Parsons school of design in New York ,and is very talented in costume design. They also worked in theater in New York before coming to Rhode Island. I worked as a set designer in some of the plays that they outfitted. Pros: professional talented sales staff more

No matter where you go, you will not see costumes like this. I have been to every costume shop from New York to New Hampshire. This place has it made! They are on top. Their costumes are fabulous! There prices are low. they don't rip ;you off like these halloween stores. Pros: theater quality costumes more

YOU DON'T KNOW HOW LONG I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A REAL THEATRICAL SHOP. I OWN A CHILDRENS THEATER IN CONN. ALONG WITH A DINNER THEATER. MY GUESTS EXPECT THE BEST OF EVERYTHING WHEN THEY COME TO MY SHOWS. THE BEST ACTORS, THE BEST FOOD, AND THE BEST COSTUMES. I HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY DREAM SHOP. THE OWNER IS EVEN THERE SO YOU CAN TALK TO HER ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT. THE OTHER COSTUME SHOPS JUST HIRE MINIMUM WAGE WORKERS WHO CAN CARE LESS ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. I GET UNDIVIDED ATTENTION WHEN I AM THERE. THEY UNDERSTAND ABOUT THEATER, QUALITY OF COSTUMES, MAKE-UP, WIGS, ECT.ECT. THEY ALSO MADE A PUPPET STAGE FOR ME AND SOME OTHER PROPS. Top Quality Professional looking Costumes 5/29/2008

It's very rare to go into a costume store where the owner is actually 100% committed to the customer. I live about 30 minutes from Providence. I knew it would be difficult to pick up my costume after work. The owner was willing to meet me halfway! Pros: Knowledgeable staff , great service more

Awesome, fantastic, professional! What more can I say!!! The best!! 5/20/2008

This place is the bomb! Awesome costumes. Very authentic and professional looking. I wore one of Bruna's custom made Pirates made with velvet. She even makes the hats. I went to a party in New York City at the 'W' hotel. Everyone asked me where I got the costume. These people worked in New York city and paid 3 times as much as I did and the quality that they had could not compare to Bruna. This is a one of a kind place. Pros: They just look expensive, but are very affordable! more

This place has a wide variety of costumes and a lot of interesting things. I found the owner to be friendly & helpful! Give yourself time to browse around here - there's a lot to see, and a surface glance won't reveal everything. Pros: Fun stuff, reasonably priced, fits the bill for a costume shop! more
