Bluehour is evidence that it's hard to live up to the hype. You WANT to love it: it's chic; It's hip; It's full of pretty people; It's everything that the Portland dining scene really needs.... if you aren't hungry. In short, it's all form and no substance. Before I sound too harsh, I'll say I'd start my evening there. Bluehour knows how to treat a drink, and the appetizers were great! (Pay the tab now, and go grab a show.) The rest of dinner was another story. Again, it LOOKED great both on the menu and on the plate, but what didn't get sent back was uninspired. To their credit, the servers (half-) tried to save the meal, but there wasn't much to work with. Good luck!
