Approach to the problem was professional. I bothered a bit to explain where is the problem and in what extent, but overall, job was well done. No more bugs running around. Price was totally OK, comparing to the problem I have lost. Living area, room, kitchen and hall were available for normal life again. more

Guy A. Duplantier III and Bayshore Exterminators are scam artists. I do not typically write reviews, however I am compelled in this case. I am also contacting authorities. They have taken $270 from me and failed to keep several appointments to visit and carry-out a rodent service as they contracted to do. They failed to show up on three scheduled visits. I also took time off from work and they still did not show up. They do not answer phone calls or return voice mail messages. I emailed their website and they never returned the message. Frustrated and at my wits end I called and left a vague message to say I have a business opportunity. Within 5 minutes I got a call back. I learned that they are going out of business. No surprise given their service and business sense. Speaking with the owner (Mr. Duplantier III) previously; I know he has a separate business - Crazy Creole Cafe . I am reporting Bayshore Exterminators to the authorities because they have taken $250 and failed to keep several appointments to visit the premises and carry out a rodent service as they contracted to do. Several times they have promised to be at the premises during a two hour window and I have taken time off work to be there and they have not showed up. Now they do not answer the telephone or return calls. Do not give these people any money! more

I want to thank the guys over there @ Bayshore Exterminators. Same Day Service they advertise. Nick was at my door with in 2 hours of my call. We had Bee???s all over the house. We could not figure out how they were getting in. Nick knew right away. The chimney was to blame. Nick put on a chimney cap and killed the bees all with in 1 hour. I though I was going to go crazy. I?m the owner of Bayshore Exterminators I been in this business since 1974. With out our customers we can not exist. So we do our best to keep them happy. First of all Nick did not scare the tenants to death. There was a very serious rodent problem. Nick set the traps on Saturday morning and went back the same day and he had already caught some mice. To me that?s customer service. We charge the lady $200.00 for 4 visits, that?s only $50.00 per visit. Nick didn?t even charge a 2nd visit that day. So the lady had 3 more visits. The problem started out with the tenants not paying the rent because there was so much wrong with the house. So now we are caught up in this mess between them. To make a long story short. We were out there 6 time only charge for 4. Yes we did have truck trouble 1 time. We charge her $300.00 to do some rodent proofing on the property and cleaning up rodent droppings inside the house. It is true we did not finish all the proofing. We were not allowed on the property to finish the job. Myself and Nick went out on a Saturday and were told by the tenants we could not enter the property. I offered the owner $150.00 back or let us finish the proofing which would of taken only 1 hour, but she refused she wanted the $500.00 back. I though that the $150.00 was more that fair considering that most of the work was completed and we caught a lot of mice already. I do not have to post any fake reviews here. If you are thinking about calling this company, please DO NOT CALL THEM! - This is a 5 men operation, that they called ""company"" with the sole purpose of stealing your money and exhausting your patience. The owner of the so called ""company"" is Guy and apparently his brother is ""Tim"" although they both sound like the same person to me. They will send one guy out: ""Nick"" to basically scare you to death and play with your emotions and tell you that your house is infested with rats, they will take your money and will run with it and you will have a hard time getting them back to do the work they promised they will do. They took $500.00 from us and failed to show up several times. The excuses range from: I only have one guy, my guy is busy, my guy had a car accident and is at the hospital, the co-owner of the company: Tim is at the hospital today and I do not know anything about your job, call us later. Once you schedule the visit, they fail to show up and once you start calling them, they will point fingers at each other telling you: I am just an employee here and I have nothing to do with it, call the office. Once you call the office, Tim will answer the phone and will say: I dont know know when we can get there, call me later. We love our 1923 Craftsman bungalow, so when another much-advertised company told us we had an ""infestation"", we were ready to pay $2800 (their quote) to protect it. Fortunately, we got two other quotes and realized the big-name company was simply trying to scare us. Nick from Bayshore was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done and why. We like the fact that this is a smaller, local company without a lot of ""middlemen"". If you're in the Long Beach area, give them a call. Just want to thank Bayshore Exterminators for all there help. I had a rodent trapped in my bedroom. The service man named Nick came out and he caught that rodent with his net. Bayshore Exterminators is a company that cares about the customer. They took there time to explain the process. I must have called them 10 times with questions, before I made up my mind. I had two other bids, one was lower but the customer service with that company was bad. I think that company got a little frustrated with me because of all the questions. Hey when u spending about $3,000.00 to get rid of your termites, you need answers. So we went with Bayshore Exterminators. These guys are fast, efficient and on time. The office even called and told me the guys were on there way. They were a little higher in price but it was worth the extra $300.00. As soon as they arrived they went to work. They put rolls of paper on my floor and plastic over our furniture. I felt good that they were protecting our things. Even when we return home that evening, every thing was clean. It was like they were not here. Then a few day s later I get a thank you card in the mail. I really like this company. Service magic thank you for the referral! Not less than 10 minutes after filling out the request for termite control. Bay Shore Exterminators calls. I ask if they had any one today. Bay Shore Exterminators told me they could have an inspector over in one hour. The company was on time and did the inspection. The man was very knowledgeable about all the methods of treatment. It took the man about 45 minutes to do the inspection and he printed the termite report from his truck!!! That blew me away. The company was very clean putting down drop cloths to get into the attic. I choose to go with orange oil treatment. The inspector told me fumigation was the best method in his option, it was only 2 spots in my attic and the difference in price was a lot. They treated my termites in about 2 hours gave me a 1 year warranty. I feel so much better knowing the termites are not eating my house. Every thing about this company was hi tech. We own a lot of property in long beach area and we will use them again and again. On top of all that I got a senior citizen discount. This is how you do business. It funny how phone numbers, can stay in your head. I remember a company advertising same day service, what made me remember more. Was that the phone number told me something 1-877- 4BUGS-LEAVE. I was despaired for help and it was on a Sunday. It was only after I was on the phone for 1 hour trying to find a pest control company? I remember the phone number; well I tried 800 then 888 then 877 4bugs leave. I got a recorder I left a message. They knew I was panic ants all over my kitchen I mean ants ever were. The owner of Bayshore Exterminators, Guy Duplantier calls me back with in 20 minutes. They were at my house on a Sunday. This was in May, do you know I still don?t have any ants no were inside or out. They really know what they are doing. The owner is a very funny man, I really believe in there method. They like to pass the buck and keep you guessing. I bought a home that was inspected for termites by this company. 3 months after I moved in, while remodeling live termites were found. The company sent out someone to look at my problem. I never blamed them for missing the termites nor did I expect them to fix or treat for free. more
