Good service and prices 9/20/2013

Had new tires and wheels mounted. Tires were shipped direct to Baum Blvd Auto from tirerack.com. I called as soon as I got notice that tires had been delivered. Baum Blvd scheduled me for next morning. Dropped car off and got a call few hours later that work was done. $68 total for mounting, installation and balancing. Work is solid, price is right, and scheduling was convenient. What more can I say? I'll be back. Thanks. more

outrageous charges 9/8/2013

I am very unhappy about my invoice. I took my car in for an inspection and told them about a few problems that I knew were would fail me on: A check engine light and a weird grinding sound when I turned the wheel. I expected this to be a part of the inspection. However, they charged me 297 for the inspection, emissions, oil change, $142 to diagnose the check engine light issue and the $47 to test drive my car to hear the noise I complained about! Most of this would have been discovered during a regular inspection. So I am out of $300 for this place doing nothing but an oil change and inspection. more

For a very reasonable charge, the guys checked out everything in the car to ensure it was good to go on a long trip. Especially appreciated the new wipers as I ran into a deluge of a rain storm on my way home! more

I asked them to check my brakes because they were squeeking a bit. They were honest and said I'd be fine with my current pads for a while longer. It's nice to know they would not take advantage of a girl that knows nothing about cars, I've had bad experiences at other places in the past. I will be returning to Baum and recommending to friends. more
