My wife and I worked with Shawn, he was great. We had a bit of a money issue and not good credit. Shawn was able to get us into a used car, however the car was a smokers car and...

Freeway Ford is great to work with when you're looking to purchase a vehicle from them. Sure, they offer you a free drink, BS with you while you browse around, have activities to ...

Editorial review from Citysearch 10/30/2013

My fiancé and I had a great experience buying a used 2011 Ford Edge, and a new 2013 F-150. We worked with Cody and Dave and both were extremely helpful. We got a great deal on the Edge which is what brought us back in to buy the truck. I got a great price on my trade in and the F-150 that I purchased was listed on their web site for 7k below invoice by mistake. I still can't believe it but the owner personally honored the deal. There is no other dealer that would have done this. If you’re looking for a new car I wouldn't look anywhere else! These guys are great! more

Obviously there are many options in purchasing a vehicle. I've tried them all and continue to find my way back to Barbee's Freeway Ford. This is due, in no small part, to Mark Faricy and the rest of the team there. Dustin Gonzales and Jordan Arnesen have tirelessly helped us personally and with our business. I estimate we've now purchased 5-6 vehicles at Barbee's and I continue to be amazed at the service, care and respect that these gentlemen show me and my company. I love having the opportunity to champion Barbee's Freeway Ford and recommend you visit them when looking for a vehicle. more

I've bought several cars from Freeway Ford. Fair prices, no high pressure sales. Highly recommend! more

I bought a brand new blue Ford Escape with grey/black interior (which by the way is hard to find...usually its tan) recently and got a good price and I didn't have to sit through any high pressure sales. I also got a fair price for my trade which was a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. All in all I like this dealership. This is my 2nd purchase here and it was just as good as the 1st time! more

I purchased a new Ford Focus from this dealership. Definitely the best car buying experience I've ever had. The sales team was straight forward and answered all of the questions I had to feel comfortable with my purchase. They also gave me the deal that I was looking for on my trade and bottom line price on my new car. I recommend shopping here for a hassle free experience. more

NEGLIGENT and IRRESPONSIBLE 6/3/2013

DO NOT GO TO THIS SERVICE SHOP!!!!!\r \r I own a 2000 Ford Focus SE. My mother was the original owner of the car. I got the car in 2008 shortly before the birth of my first child. We have both maintained the car really well over the years and it is commonly mistaken for a much younger vehicle both cosmetically and mechanically. Within the first three months, the spring coils broke on the front suspension. I called Barbee's Freeway Ford to price the repair(I believe they told me $765). I ended up having my uncle do the work to save money. A few months later I was at Freeway Ford getting some other work done on the car and was told that the spring coils were a defective part and covered under extended warranty. I could have gotten them fixed for free, but wasn't told that when I called to get the repair quote.I spent $500 for parts that I could have gotten replaced for free. Even still, I chalked it up to miscommunication and decided to continue using them for maintenance and repairs. more

I have purchased two vehicles from Freeway Ford and will service both of them there. A great experience both times!! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 6/14/2012

Beware of this dealership. Their customer service is non-existent. Neither the sales manager nor the service manager would return calls or requests for help after selling me a car with a maintenance problem. Once they have your money, you cease to exist. Definitely would not use these sheisters again! more

Would NOT recommend Barbee's Freeway Ford to anyone! 11/15/2011

I would never recommend Barbee's Freeway Ford to anyone. I can't believe people actually fall for their lies. I've been shopping around for a newer car for a while now so when I went into this dealership I had a pretty good idea of where I stood regarding my credit, interest rate, etc. I went there w a specific car and budget set. \r \r Reggie tried SO HARD to talk me into a 2012 Focus after I specifically told him I wanted a 2010 or 2011 Escape. Boy, did he push. He also told me no bank would finance me for a used vehicle and they could only finance me a new vehicle. He made an offer that required a down payment (when other places I searched didn't require a down payment), higher interest rate (3 points higher than other places), and my first payment was due much sooner than other places. Poor Kennedy....she's learning all the wrong ways to sell a car by learning from Reggie.\r \r I'm NOT just another pretty face. I may be a female, but I KNOW my stuff and I do my homework.\r \r Why pay more and hassle w these guys when if you do your research right, you can find way better deals. more

Freeway Ford Lies 9/1/2011

Freeway Ford lied to my wife. They lied to her and told her that her brakes were shot, they said only 1 mm of brake pad remaining and they were ""metal on metal"". They told her that if she didn't get the work done NOW that they would get much worse and cause further damage to her car and possibly cause full brake failure. Freeway Ford didn't know that I had recently gotten the brakes replaced! I took the car back to the original mechanic and he showed me the brake pads and explained to me the wear pattern and at what point they need to be replaced. He showed me that the rear breaks are in like new condition and the front pads were only about 80% worn. Freeway Ford gives honest mechanics a bad name. I think it is ironic that they always have bible verses on their large sign, I have one for them. Proverbs 11:3 more

DON'T TRUST THIS DEALER! 3/21/2011

THEY LIE and they don't care what it does to you! Sold us a used vehicle, the sales person and the finance lady both said the loan was approved, I asked if it was for sure approved and safe to sell my vehicle and they both said, ""YES"", so we got rid of our other vehicle to find out they *didn't* get the loan approved. They then assured us it would get approved and for three months tried getting us a loan - all that time hitting our credit and TRASHING it! After having the vehicle for three months, they then demanded we return the car, but now we can't get another loan and we don't have a car for my family. Not to mention, we had over six hundred dollars worth of work done to the body of the vehicle [removing dents] and they won't even reimburse us for that. Never will we trust Barbee's Freeway Ford again - what a bunch of low-lifes! more

Lemon Vehicles with No Titles 12/6/2010

Four years ago, I purchased a pickup from these people. After $2500 in repairs, the first week, I had a solid vehicle. Unfortunately, even though they promised to hold the title for me, they mailed it to my house, 1500mi away. Fortunately, I made a subsequent trip home and retrieved my title. A mixup in the paperwork, but these things are rare, right? Wrong. This time, I purchased an SUV. After 4 trips to their service department the first month, I think I have a reliable vehicle. I still don't have a title. It's been 6 weeks of them telling me that it should be here in a couple of days, and now they tell me that they mailed it to the former owner. During my most recent trip back to the dealership, I talked to another customer who also has not received his title. It has been so long that he had to get replacement temp tags, and those have expired, as well. The dealership, of course, refuses to pay for the extended temp tags. more

Broken Promises 10/29/2010

I tried to purchase a truck and after negotiating terms, price, etc. and drove off in my new truck... I got a call late that evening and they told me I needed a down payment or I had to return the vehicle... After contracts were signed and all the negotiating how can they go back on their deal... The vehicle was on empty so I had to fill the tank full of gas which after returning they told me they would reimburse me for gas but never did... I soon arrived back to the dealership to give them back the vehicle and the sales guy told me they wouldn't reimburse me for the gas... I found out the following day the truck was sold to someone else... Everything that was promised to me was just a lie... Don't trust anyone there and get everything in writing but even then I'd never go back... more

Scam Artists at their best ! 9/23/2010

These people are the worse I have ever dealt with. After finally getting a deal I could afford... we signed the papers for which I thought was a settled purchase only to find 2 weeks later they said the bank would not approve the rate and our payment was going up. I guess a contract is NOT a contract these days. Now I will return the truck and start my search again. Please have them explain the fine print that is unreadable. Get pre-approved and confirm that with Jeff and Stephanie BEFORE you go to the signing. They work as a team to snake in the hidden costs and details. I will be contacting FORD CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS regarding this matter. more

Avoid Freeway Ford 8/23/2010

The sales staff seem nice enough, but they lie, are incompetent, and sell lemons. They literally do nothing to their used cars other than clean them before they sell them. Do not buy a car from these folks, you will be disappointed. more

Horrible people, horrible place 8/14/2010

We were just there two days ago looking to buy and this was the worst car experience I've had. They were 100% unprofessional, rude and mouthy. They wouldn't even let us TEST DRIVE the vehicle we were interested in until they ran our credit. It was a new truck they had just got in, the guy danced around telling me how much it was until I firmly demanded it. He kept giving us the final price but no break down. No clue on what we were actually paying, which would of been $31,000 for a 2005 Tacoma with 85K miles....wtf?! Because we were hesitant and wanted to take a step back to discuss it, the sales guy got very rude and mouthy to us and tried to push us out the door with a way over priced truck. He also told us we would never get financed anywhere else and that he 'wasn't doing anything wrong'? After we left, not buying the truck, we have received harassing text messages from them calling us schmucks, among other things. VERY INAPPROPRIATE. I have never experienced anything like this, do more

2 thumbs up 2/9/2010

I've purchased 3 cars from this place and have been pleased with our when buying our vehicles and also when servicing our vehicles. They've always been up front with us and have helped us when we needed to find the best deal and vehicle for our family. I'd recommend this place to family and friends as our experiences have never been anything less than outstanding. more

Barbee's Freeway Ford is LAME! A TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME! 9/24/2009

Freeway Ford is currently running a campaign they call "2 for 1" implying that you buy one car and get another car free. Two different salesmen explained that if we bought an 07-08 used SUV, we could also choose an 03-04 used car such as a Focus for free... just paying tax and licence on the 2nd (cheaper) vehicle. My husband and I made 3 separate trips to Freeway to test drive vehicles, ask questions, and find 2 cars we wanted. Then came the sit down with the finance guy and an hour into that conversation, AFTER credit approval and appraisal of our trade-in, it is FINALLY explained to us that this is NOT in fact the deal at all. The deal is that you pay FULL PRICE for BOTH vehicles, but they get financed together on one loan. Ridiculous! This is the point where I started laughing, shook my head in disbelief and walked out. What an unbelievable waste of my time and theirs. My advice: STAY AWAY! They will treat you like an idiot, lie about price (check their website price vs. what they t more

Best Car Buying Experience Ever! 6/22/2009

I purchased a new Focus from Freeway Ford recently. I received the utmost courtesy, and the salespeople showed a lot of patience with me, given the fact that I waffled between two cars for so long before making a decision. The price was fair, the deal was great, and the financing was painless and reasonable. They also threw in 10 free oil changes, and a 100,000 mile extended warranty. Aside from the service, I must say that this is the best little car I have ever owned - and I've owned Mustangs, Firebirds and Corvettes! Kudos to Freeway Ford! I'll definitely deal with them again in the future. PS - I sent my brother-in-law over after my purchase, and he bought three vehicles - a used Audi for my niece, a truck for himself, and a new SUV for my sister. They are all as thrilled as I am! :o) more
