Worst. Place. Ever. EMERGENCY ONLY> 5/5/2011

Not even worth a star. SUPER EXPENSIVE for the treatment you get. First, before taking your pet, realize there is a ransom fee - they take your dog and hold it in back and charge you a huge fee. Then you wait forever and they want all this testing done. Some of it even hinted that it is unnecessary, but ""recommended"". If you don't accept all of their recommended testing, you get the guilt trip - NOT what you want to hear when you already realize that the necessary stuff costs $300+. If you have a steady vet that you love and its not a true emergency, wait till Monday and make an appt. Or call the recommended vet emergency clinic from your vet. These people are snarky, slow and don't seem to care. more

OVERPRICED, UNCARING AND WORTHLESS!!! 8/23/2010

When I brought my 1 1/2 year old cat into the office, I knew something was wrong with her and explained the symptoms. They ran some blood tests and couldn't find anything. At this point the bill was already $260. They wanted to run more tests (another $300+) that I couldn't afford, and I asked if they would take payments for the balance. They refused to help and said the only thing they could do was give my cat an antibiotic shot (for $45) and send her home. 2 days later, my 1 1/2 year old cat was dead. She was in agony her last few days and there was nothing I could do about it. They could give two sh*ts about your animal and care only about the money. I have noticed this from several other vets I have come across and it is getting to the point where I can't even afford the most basic medical treatments for my animals due to the excessive gouging. Even the cost to put animals to sleep is $150 or more. Really?? I know people need to make a living, but D@MN!! They are going overboard. Sadly, the .22 pistol I have is going to have to be my new form of Euthanasia. more

Good experience for first-time cat owner 3/30/2010

When I first had my cat, I went to Banfield for all of her vaccinations. They were low-cost and very convenient. Banfield also provided recommendations for things such as litter, food, etc. They provided a great experience for someone who knew nothing about cats at the time. more

Excellent Vet! 1/29/2010

Banfield was the first Vet I took my pets to and have always had a positive experience there! My pets have been well taken care of for years and I feel as though the employees take the time and energy to care for you and your pet. I have only ever been given honest answers and advise and will continue to take my pets to Banfield for years to come! more

Even considering the price, it's where we keep going! 1/7/2008

From the moment you walk in and see Jen at the front desk, you feel comfortable leaving your pet in the care of Banfield. Dr. Anderson is really the best vet I have found yet. He is thorough and always makes me feel good about my visit, even if it is bad news. more
