i have a lot of piercings. i've only gone to avant-garde. yes, the piercer (paul) can be a sarcastic a** sometimes, he's just trying to sike you out, just play along. i've never had a problem with their jewelry or instructions. my nose didn't hurt AT ALL. the worst one was my industrial, which given is a pretty painful one no matter where you go. None of mine have ever gotten infected, never a natural problem, except that i get bored and take them out when i'm not suppose to then i can't get them back in. i love avant-garde because they're always around to answer any questions or take a look at something if you have any problems with it. I have heard of a lot of people who hate it because they get infected easy, but that's not the case with the people i've talked to. i would really recommend avant-garde, just follow their instruction and go in if you need help or have any questions!\r
