Oil change and inspection 12/18/2011

Auto Care Plus is a rare find when it comes to a business that pays attention to detail. Its hard to find a great auto shop now a days and its always a pleasure having to set up an appointment to fix the car. John,Danny,and Kevin are always utmost professionals. What has made me want to go back time and time again is the way they go out of their way to help the customer. They have a group of loaner cars so when they work on your car for a couple of days, they lend you a car so your not inconvenienced, I don't know of any other place that does that. Keep up the great work and Happy Holidays. more

Solved a tricky problem 12/17/2011

Autocare customer service is top notch. Solved a mystery problem with my car - it took 2 visits but they persevered and got it fixed. Danny and Kevin are consumate professionals and so helpful. more

A Big Job Done Extremely Well! 12/13/2011

Due to some monetary setbacks over the past year I have neglected my poor car. A loud noise in the front end finally forced me to bring it in. Naturally, having only had oil changes in about a year, there was a lot to be fixed and it took three days. I was not inconvenienced in the slightest, however, as Auto Care Plus allowed me to use one of their rather luxurious loaner cars the whole time. The work was extensive, but I believe the bill to have been fair and honest. In addition to explaining what was needed, they even provided illustrated graphics of the work done along with my receipt! My car is now running like a top again. Thanks guys! more

wrong price 12/12/2011

When I caled for an appointment I was quoted $19.95 for an oil change and I was toldthat there would be of course an additional charge for oil because of the size of the SUV which I understand. Being a loyal customer in the past I booked the appointment. But when my husband showed up and was charged $49.00 we are questioning our loyalty to your business. As you know, there are a lot of $19.95 oil changes out there but I chose this one because they were local and NOT a Walmart type store.But it looks like I will be shopping around for all my work in the future! more

Stand by their work 12/7/2011

I bought a new set of tires and a week later, I got a flat. Not only did they cover the replacement tire, the mounted and balanced it for free! Heck, I did not even know the tire they sold me had a warranty. I am sure they told me at the time but nonetheless, this was a welcome surprise. This is the reason I bring all my work to these guys and have been doing so for over 20 years. I literally trust them with my life and they have never let me down. It is why I did not go to one of those discount tire places, when you factor in the true cost, they are competitive and when you add in their service and dedication to customer service, well it isn't even close! more

Excellent Experience at Auto Care Plus 10/25/2011

This shop came highly recommended and I can see why. I had an excellent experience, with my Annual Inspection, and subsequent work. I was informed of every cost, treated fairly, and received super discounts with the coupons they mailed to the house. (They even corrected a problem from my last oil change I had at a different place....I will never take my car back there again.) I will return to Auto Care Plus with confidence. I appreciated their professional attention they gave my car, the way servicing should be! Thanks. more

Unfortunately I'm done with this place 10/11/2011

I was told I would need over $2000 worth of work on my car in order to pass a state inspection. I took my car to another place for a "2nd opinion". Not only did this other place not charge me over $100 for a diagnostic for SES light being on (auto Care plus always did), and there were too many codes to make a determination they reset them all. Gave me an estimate of about $400 for work to be done to get inspection. After buying tires online and shipping to new place - total for getting an inspection was $616 including tires. I saved $1400 by NOT going to Auto Care Plus. After 6 years something has gone terribly wrong here - is it their need for cash to support 2 places now??? With John gone from Merrimack it is just not the same..... more

We brought in a newly purchased motorhome for sate mandated inspection and were pleased that they gave such a thorough check-up. It was finished, repairs and all, in a timely fashion. more

Great work 9/23/2011

I am new to Merrimack and unsure of who is good. I went here based on the online reviews. Autocare was amazing. I called on short notice and dropped my car off not knowing what was wrong. They had it fixed by the next afternoon with a good explanation and reasonable rates. I recommend them to anyone. more
