Project estimator Robert G. responded quickly to my online request for a quote to have Arizona Painting Company paint my house. I appreciated his broad and deep knowledge of house painting in general and the APC process in particular. On his initial walk-around my house, he showed me evidence that stucco sealing and a fresh paint job was certainly needed. He explained the warning signs he saw and told me specifically what APC would do to fix each problem. He offered three project performance guarantees based on the surface preparation and type of paint that would be applied. I decided that the 5-year guaranteed package would be best for us. He went to his car, which was equipped for Wi-Fi and had a printer, and emerged in about a half-hour with a printed proposal for the services I requested.
I got to choose the paint colors from among top-ranking brands on the market (one of the few issues I had an opinion about from personal experience). Online I was able to communicate with the project administrator to verify and confirm details and pricing of the project. A start date was set.
On the starting day, the foreman Tony and his sidekick arrived at about 6:30 AM. Tony and I walked around the house, and he pointed out the places he saw needed attention and listened to me as I put in my two cents worth. I went back inside as they started pressure-washing away surface dirt and oxidation from the walls. Then they papered and taped off all areas that would not be painted.
Even though one day threatened to rain hard, Tony stood his ground let the clouds pass. During the painting process, Tony would call me outside to show progress that had been made and let me know what was happening. Otherwise, with the windows all papered and taped, my wife and I literally would have been in the dark. After two days of painting the paper and tape came off and my freshly painted house stood sparkling. Tony walked me around for the final quality inspection. He seemed genuinely proud of producing good results and I was extremely satisfied with the job, too.
