Arizona Discount Movers

On September 1, 2014 I used Arizona Discount Movers to move into my new home in Chandler, Az. I had previously used them for a move three years prior. Once again I had a GREAT moving experience and their crew was amazing and outstanding! They took extra care to carefully wrap my furniture and other items, were quick, efficient, extremely careful, hard working and totally professional. I would never use another mover but Arizona Discount Movers and recommend them to everyone. more

I called Arizona Discount Movers movers during a very stressful time in my life. I was moving my parents into an assisted living home and I was coordinating all of this from out of state. I actually booked another moving company but they messed up the booking. They called me the day before and expected everything to be boxed up and ready to go. Nothing was packed and I asked them if they could drop off boxes so I could try and pack up in time. They said no, so I had to cancel. I was in full panic mode when I called Larry at Arizona Discount Movers. I explained the situation to him and he was completely professional while still being sympathetic and understanding about my stress. Even though it was so last minute and not at all scheduled they were able to help me move. The price turned out to be better than the first company! The movers couldn't have been nicer. It was difficult to coordinate the move because my parents were moving to separate rooms in the assisted living center. So it was a big process of separating which stuff went into which room. I wanted my parents to be as comfortable as possible as they settled in and having all of their things is essential to that. The movers completely understood. They were patient and really could not have been nicer. I would recommend them to anyone in the Arizona area. more

Arizona Discount Movers was moving me out of my third floor apartment and they were late showing up. However, they kept communication up with me the whole time to let me know. I was still kind of annoyed about it but they did let me know when they were on their way and stayed in touch about it. The move itself turned out fine. A. We were not moving but we needed our furniture and Baby Grand Piano moved out while new carpet was laid. The movers were on time, fast but careful with all of belongings as they worked around the craftsman doing the remodel and carpet layers. We would highly recommend Arizona Discount Movers. more

My experience with Arizona Discount Movers was fantastic! They moved me from one house to another. It was a short distance, about six miles away. The crew was very friendly and showed up early. Everything was packed and wrapped up very nicely. I was not charged any extra for that either. The moved everything quickly and efficiently. There was not one scratch or nick on the walls and none of my stuff was damaged. I recently used Arizona Discount movers, to move from one storage to another. From the begging of the move to my final destination, I was completely pleased and satisfied with the way Arizona Discount Movers treated me, concerning the move. The price was reasonable, Jay and the rest of the customer staff, were very helpful and professional. They took the time to explain every thing to me prior to the move and during the move. They day of the move, I was extremely pleased that Jay notified me when the movers would be at site. Once the movers arrived; on time which I appreciated, they introduced themselves and were very courteous. Jay the head mover, explained the approximate time it would take to do the job. I was a little concern about the amount of time, but we were able to fix the problem, when he explained the time included driving time, which I had forgotten about. I really appreciated Jay and Simon taking the time to deliver a refrigerator that was in the storage, to my house and put my old one in the garage for me. At the new site Jay and Simon, were very considerate in removing my items from their truck , and into the storage site. They did not waste time or just dump my stuff, as has happened with other movers. They even stored the items to my specifications. Finally, there were no hidden fees, or extra cost, they even gave me a 55 discount for seniors. I was very pleased with the move and would use them again and recommend Arizona Discount Movers to others Thank you. more

I hired this company to move my home. I called 2 weeks prior to my move, and had done my research on several different companies. I have to say I was very overwhelmed since there were so many when I did a search on the internet. So I asked around to co-workers, friends, and family. I narrowed it down to 3 to 4 moving companies. I decided to go to the Better Business Bureau, and check out each company, after calling each one I decided to use Arizona Discount Movers. I felt comfortable talking to Jay, and I felt very confident I had made a smart choice. So I wasn't surprised the day of the move when my 3 movers showed up and made a very stressful day a lot less stressful. The price was fair and the service way more than I expected. I was looking online for a moving company that could move our friend, who's husband is hospitalized with cancer. I wanted to make sure I picked a company that would give her excellent service to lessen her burden. After reviewing companies, going on their websites, reviewing Better Business files, I decided to join Angie's List to help me narrow down my selection. That is where I found Arizona Discount Movers. They had an A rating with the BB, an A rating with Angie's List and received the Angie's List Super Service Award for 2012. I contacted them and from my first call to Michelle, to schedule the move (less than one week to move) to our last call from Gary ,the scheduler, to confirm the job was done to our satisfaction we got nothing but EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. Amy, the owner went above and beyond to make sure the move was painless for our friend. Bruce and Nigel, the movers were on time, professional and did a FANTASTIC job. Hired them for a house move in June they were 5 hrs late to arrive. The driver was 'tired' so instead of doing his supervising job, he decided on a two hour nap. After awaking, he decided the truck was packed wrong, and had it emptied and reloaded. All this extra work and tardiness caused a penalty of $200 because we weren't out of the house on time. After storing our belongings for 2 days, they again arrived late (2hrs). All the guys complained about the heat (it's AZ). A pin is missing from a fold down table and a bracket was broken on a dresser mirror. Neither one was fixed or replaced. We asked for a $300 credit for their lateness and extra hours of re packing. No response other than an initial $50 refund offer before any of our problems were reported. No response sine then. It's now 3 months later. WORST movers anyone could hire. Their good reviews must be ones they post about themselves. more

I don't have very much stuff. They moved me quickly and did a very good job. They didn't break anything of mine. This was the third time I have used them and I've never had a problem. more

We were downsizing and they took the time to make suggestions on where to put different things. They were helpful and very good with the furniture, no damage.
