Amarillo Urgent Care

Go anywhere else! I'd only go here if I didn't have insurance, because this place is cheap as far as urgent care goes ($60 + 75% of tests/procedures for private pay), though clearly you get what you pay for.\r \r I went in on January 1st, and they said I hadn't met my deductible yet (not surprising as it was the first day of the new year). Because of this, I'd need to pay $120 (double the expense of private pay/no insurance) plus 75% of tests/procedures. They said this was policy, though couldn't actually show me a copy of this policy when I asked for it. It felt like a scam, especially because they couldn't give me any copy of anything that would guarantee my money back after they filed with my insurance and found I owed much less than $120.\r \r Also, they didn't tell me this until I'd waited for an hour.\r \r So I went to BSA Urgent Care on 45th and Bell and was seen within the hour, after paying my usual copay of $25. Also, BSA Urgent Care had working wifi and heat! more

The staff is just like the previous review says. I don't know why they even take patients as painful as it seems for them to do anything that resembles help. They have the worst billing department possible. They wont send you a bill for a year then they will automatically send you to collections without even trying to call. They just don't care. They bill your insurance company about 2x what they charge you if you pay cash. Wow, now I can understand why health care is so screwed up. Don't waste your time here. Go to one of the other clinics and save yourself some grief and tons of aggravation..... This urgent care is garbage. They are grouchy and think they're doing you favors. Their attitude was cold and uncaring. It's all about the money for them. more
