My husband and I were devastated when our new 2010 Camry was damaged on the side of the car. It's always been parked at the side of the street and we've never had any problems. It's been less than a year of ownership and nonetheless, we were stressed about the inevitable repairs and of course the expected bill. Well we were finding out places on the internet and happened to see that the majority of the reviews were all negative, none to our surprise of course. However, this repair shop garnered the most positive reviews. We were a little skeptic at first and since my husband was at work and I'm 5 months pregnant, I decided to take the risk and go to someone with positive reviews. Well we couldn't have been more happier and satisfied!\r \r The owner of the shop was called Naum and when he heard of the damage, he first asked if I was alright and safe. He even drove to our house to inspect the car, told me to follow his car to the shop and after the price estimates, he even drove me back home! Also, Naum said that he would research the best rates for the replacement parts of the car. I have not experienced this type of royal treatment before. Naum said that the repairs would take about 1 week to pick up the car after the repairs and in less than a week, I was instructed the car was ready!\r \r The workmanship was flawless and I'm sure my husband would be extremely pleased when he sees the car tonight. Did I mention that he even waxed my car? More than that however, Naum's professionalism and respect for his patrons was what gave me a lasting impression. I will not forget the experience I've received from Naum and Direct Drive and you wouldn't even have to ask me for I am more than willing to recommend all my friends and family to Naum and his team!\r \r Since I read the positive reviews from this repair center, I felt that it was important to contribute our experience and add to Naum's growing list! more

I was referred to Direct Drive by another Auto shop to get my car's AC fixed few years ago. After going to the Ford dealer two times costing me $1600 and it is still broke after few months, I was skeptic when they quoted me $800 to fix it. The owner explained to me the reason it is so much is because he is giving me new parts. Now is four years later, my AC is still working. :) With time, I can see they were honest with me.\r \r So last week when another auto shop told me that I need to change all four struts on my car because they were rusted. I didn't trust them. So I went to Direct Drive. They checked my car out and said it is in good condition. I didn't need to change them at all. They showed me the struts. They have minor rusts on them. The ower told me even if they changed them, they will be rust in 6 months.\r \r It is hard to find honest and knowledgeable mechanics these day. I am so glad that I found them. more

I reviewed them in Google, but figured I should also add it here....After doing research and price quoting for a good auto repair shop in Brooklyn (my two must haves: good price and good reviews), I found Direct Drive and am glad I did. The owner (Naum) was very open and honest about what needed to be done. He even said that I could use his computer to compare prices if I felt he was over charging. The fact is, his prices are very reasonable. On top of giving me attention as a customer, he went to a near by store and bought me coffee (though the price of a cup of coffee is cheap, the gesture was extremely nice). The mechanic (Sammy) worked on our car with care and was quick (I was able to watch his whole operation). Bottom line, the job was done well; and just as important, I was treated with respect and made comfortable. Naum went as far as explaining why and what was being done (I'm not very car savvy, so having him explain and even take me to the car to see the issues at hand was important). I'll definitely go there if future repairs are ever needed. How many businesses can you go to and leave knowing everyone's names. (side note: they do not accept credit cards, so bring your check book) Pros: Honest, friendly, trusting, great prices. Cons: No credit cards. more

My car was in a car accident and was badly damaged (the insurance company appraised the damaged car as a total loss). I’ve been servicing my car with Naum for the last 8 years, since I’ve bought it as a used car in 2003. So when the car had to be towed from the place of accident I did not have to think twice where to go. Naum let me keep my car in his shop for a week waiting for the insurance appraisal. The repairs took about a week – exactly as he promised and about $300 less than the initial rough estimate. The car runs the same as before and I am completely satisfied with all the repairs and painting that have been done. I have never had a problem with this shop! As others mentioned it is difficult to find an honest mechanic. I’m lucky because I found one. I know that I can trust Naum – he honestly tells what parts need to be replaced and which ones can still be left in place for a good period of time. Come and check it out for yourself!
