After deciding to purchase an Acura, I first researched Acura dealerships to find those with best reputations, highest Buyer ratings, and ease to work with. I reached agreement on best price and details for a 2014 Acura ILX from Acura of Libertyville's Luigi Miceli on the Internet within a week or so. Then, I just had to visit the dealership to shake hands, pickup the car, and complete paperwork--- no pressure. Luigi was straight forward in email correspondence as well as in person---professional and easy/great to work with. I would ask for, and buy from him again, and recommend him. I also completed the paperwork detail with Joe and customer service survey with Jerry, who also were pleasant and efficient/fast. My ILX is a quality and enjoyable/fun to drive luxury car. I also test drove the TSX and that was the same driving experience. Acura of Libertyville is not your typical high pressure dealership. There is a very calm and relaxed atmosphere in the hole dealership. I had gone in to get some info on a car and was very impressed with how professional the sales man was. I told him that I'm in the market for a new car but am not buying today. He understood me and respected what I had to say. Few days later he called to thank me for stopping by their dealership and to follow up with me witch was good. I first contact Acura of Libertyville along with several other dealers via their website. While all the dealers responded to me eventually, the team at Libertyville (both Andy and Luigi helped me out) came across as being informative without being smarmy -- not so at the other 3 dealers that responded. Even though Acuras are in short supply right now, Libertyville didn't beat me over he head with the fact like the dealer to the west of them. I just picked up my new 2012 TL Advance about 6 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. The price was great, and the service was phenomenal. I'm even planning to attend one of their Technology clinics to get clued in to all the great features of my Navigation system. Thanks Acura Libertyville team! more

Worst experience ever. I walked into this dealership and was immediately judged by my young age (although I could've paid cash for the car-didn't matter to them). Long story short, I went back to negotiate price after debating about the car for 2 weeks. This was my first car purchase, so to me, it was a big and stressful decision. The employee was horribly impatient and rude, I quote, said ""I was wasting my time."" After that, I was infuriated by him and walked away. They called me the next day and told me they'd lower the price if I came back. After considering the car and setting aside a horrible employee, I went back for one more shot. I was later told I was ""badgering"" and being difficult. I don't care if I am looking into a new Acura, or a used Chevy, a car sale is a car sale and you work retail. Learn patience! I ended up buying the car ONLY due to the reasonable price and I have told EVERY family member, friend, and coworker (and a number of strangers) about their HORRIBLE customer service. My cousin just spent 90,000 on 2 new acuras from McGrath and loved it there. They could've had his sale if they would've treated me better. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! more

I recently picked up my new TL from Acura of Libertyville. I couldn't be happier with the service provided by everyone I dealt with at this store. They had a very good selection for me to choose from and the negotiation process was completely simple and hassle free. None of the back and forth that I've had to deal with in the past.
