ARS / Rescue Rooter Dallas

Took a vacation day for this, had appointment for the morning (8-12) Said they would call 1/2 hour before showing up..... no call until 12:30 PM, said they were running behind, would be another 1-1.5 hours....nobody showed up. Phone call at 3pm saying they're not coming... no time. I took a vacation day for this !! I didn't re-schedule.... abuse me once, shame on you, abuse me twice by me taking a 2nd vacation day, shame on me. \r \r This place has very weak management.... you have been warned. more

Had a seriously clogged kitchen sink drain and Michael Vanderschuit with ARS - Dallas, came out and did an awesome job clearing the drain. Very professional in all aspects of his work. Delivered a Super customer service experience. If you have a drain or plumbing problem, Michael is your guy! I've had other companies come out but Michael was the best! more

Very frustrated. Made appointment from 8 to 12. I'm still waiting at 1:00pm. No phone calls from them. Wasted time in waiting. Nor recommend. Stay away from them. more

Had slow drip coming from my side of the water meter under the man hole cover out at my front sidewalk. Called Rescue Rooter. First thing that isn't good is they send an estimator out to 'estimate' your job, then he will send a actual plumber later. The leak was coming from the PVC pipe connector. The Rescue Rooter 'estimator' told me that they wouldn't be able to get their saws-all cutter in to that tight of a space to cut off the bad connector. He said they would have to jack-hammer out the sidewalk in order to have enough room to fix the leak, and then would have to replace the sidewalk. He estimated the job to be almost $1300. I called Classic plumbing, and they sent an actual plumber. He looked at my leak, got on his stomach, cut the connector off with his little string saw, replaced the connector, and the leak was fixed. This was all done for the price of a service call - $105. So in other words Rescue Rooter is a HUGE rip-off joint that is trying to scam the most money out of people as possible. Definitely do not ever consider using Rescue Rooter. It could cost you 13 times as much as it should.Rooter. It could cost 13 times as mu more

They fixed our garage disposal prior to move-in to our new home. They seemed to work fine and the price was reasonable. The prior owner was paying, but they got the job done nicely. more

I couldn't reach my usual plumber in Oak Cliff, had company on the way so I came online and decided to call the Rescue Rooter folks based on their ad. My trouble was my master bathroom toliet had been clogged by a weekend guest. Pros: Courteous phone receptionist Cons: Charges premium rates and upsells to increase the bill more
