I've had them work on my own home as well as a couple of rental properties. They were always on time, professional to my tenants, and made it very easy to make payments and they did great work. My opener was damaged so I called around. I'm not sure what made me choose AGS, but I'm glad I did. They were able to fix my opener in just one trip and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. They were able to quickly identify what had caused the problem. They fixed that then fixed the opener and everything is working perfectly. I will use AGS from now on. Back in early January my cable came off for the 3rd time in as many weeks. I had been calling another company, but on the third time, I decided to try someone new after spending over $900 with that other company. A friend recommended this company so I gave them a call. A couple of guys came out and between the two of them they quickly identified the real problem and were able to fix it for very little. After the other company said I needed a new roller thing that the cable rolls up on, a new bar, new rollers, new this and new that... it all came down to the track needed to be moved out so the cable didn't catch it when the door went up. I probably didn't need any of that other stuff. I've waited until now to post a review to make sure that their service actually fixed the problem, and it did. Less than $100 they fixed it, where for over $900 the other guy couldn't figure it out. Don't waste your time or money. I highly recommend calling AGS. more

They guys that came out were actually fun and entertaining. They obviously enjoy their job and enjoy working together and do it well. They installed my new garage door in a little over an hour and half. The price was hundreds less than what I had been quoted by other companies and someone from their office even called to followup and make sure they cleaned up and took care of all my questions. I was quite impressed and the door looks great. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for garage door repairs or replacements. more

Been looking for a new garage door for a while. Finally got it and wow does it look good! They hauled off the old garage door and installed this one. They were about $600 less than the highest priced bid and about $100 more than the lowest, and well worth the extra 100. They were in and out with no hassle. They showed me options, were never pushy for the higher priced stuff like many of the ones that came out to quote, and just made me feel real good about the transaction. They've got a customer for life here. more

I've had my garage door worked on a couple times in the past, both times for broken springs. Well, it happened again this past Thursday. I searched the internet for garage door repairmen in the Denton area where I live and found a listing for "AGS" (A Garage Door Service) and gave them a call. Here's where it gets good......the guy asked me if I wanted him to come by that evening to look at it. Since it was already late and it wasn't a real emergency, I told him the next day would be okay......but I was very impressed that he offered to come by that evening. Next day he shows up promptly when he said he would and gave me a thorough and very good cost estimate on replacing both springs and new rollers on my door. He was very honest and very thorough in doing the job right and not cutting corners just to get the job done. I would very highly recommend this customer to anyone and everyone looking for the right company to repair (or even to replace) a broken garage door. I would rate them 6 stars or higher if I could. more
