It?s a simple security system but a little expansive compared to the other home alarm providers. It?s a very standard alarm system that covers the basics: i.e. a keypad, window and door sensors and motion detectors. The motion detector doesn?t work too well with Pets, so the false alarms are a bit high. more

Thanks a lot for the newly installed alarm system! My little girl likes it and she feels safe with it. I am not looking forward to false alarms tho. more

Great monitoring people, but business people, Lord Help Us! I found out today, after almost four months of simply trying to get my mailing address correct on my new primary residence that they have disconnected my monitoring at my vacation home, due to not paying my bill. I tried very hard to help them understand the bill is paid through my credit card and has been for the past 10 years. They said they have been mailing me notices about the problem and trying to call me. I finally figured out they were mailing and calling to my vacation home which does not have mail service and no one lives there to answer the phone! After 10 years they still can't get this figured out! I told them mailing something to the physical address of my vacation home is like mailing a letter to Santa at the North Pole and wondering why he doesn't answer it! IT DOES NOT EXIST!! We moved our primary residence three months ago and signed up for ADT again. I now get solicitation calls from them asking if we want to sign up. Unbelievable. If I had not just spent hundreds of dollars having them install new stuff, I would drop them like a hot potato. more

We had an ADT alarm system installed in June. Installation was done well and the alarm service is fine, but the billing is terrible. They can't get it right. They make the mistake and the start calling for payment three times in two days and this is after they were paid. They were suppose to that the payment automaticly from a credit card. I just got another bill that states I'm late. I'm just about ready to cancel their service. more

I always had the feeling that home alarms are not that necessary and that something for a name sake will serve the purpose. But there was an incident that shook my neighborhood that made me rethink about it. We haven?t heard of any burglaries for a long time that the burglars found how easy going we were in the matter. I had to fix on one company as soon as possible, I chose ADT Security since it was one of the widely known names. But I was suspicious whether I can rely on the system. I used to enquire everything about the system and used to be arrogant with them if I find something awkward on the system. But the representatives were very much patient and knowledgeable that I feel I am one among them. They have even offered visits when I get over suspicious about the behaviour of the system. ADT is simply a great group! more
