24 Hour Fitness

My fiance and I went to join the gym at this location and found the girl at the front desk very unfriendly and abrupt. We filled out a guest fitness profile and sat for about half an hour. I then approached the desk and in an abrupt manner she advised I would have to wait at least half an hour to speak with someone...no apology. When I asked if I could have the guest profile form back she advised the information was in the computer anyway. I advised the young lady I have a gym at my residence and wanted to look around at the equipment but we were not allowed to get beyond the front desk without meeting with someone. To wait an hour for that is simply ridiculous. I asked her for the local number for the gym and she handed me a 866 number to call regarding membership and told me that number is hardly answered. I left feeling that they did not want my membership. more

Although there is a good assortment of cardio equipment, at times it is so crowded you have to wait to use a treadmill or elliptical. There is even a 20 minute limit on treadmills, which is great if you are waiting, but if you are training for a race & need to do a longer run you are out of luck.\r \r I also find the entire facility extremely dirty. Ladies locker room toilets seem to be constantly leaking water onto the floor. I do not think I have been (& I go 5-6 days per week) when there is not a trickle of water from at least one of the toilets to the drain. Showers not only have hair in the drains, but on the walls. \r \r Also the equipment, mats and actually the entire facility could use a good scrubbing. I personally clean anything I use before I get on, with the cleaning spray provided by the facility (that is when it is not empty & there are paper towels). \r \r I have been going for about a month now, and would cancel my membership, however I bought 10 personal training sessions I more

I would rate this as an average gym. There are plenty of machines and the facility is large. However, the lack of cleanliness bothered me. There is a lot of hair and dust rolloing around the gym floor where the aerobics classes are held. Also, at times it is hard to find an employee to help with questions on use of the machines. Also note that the gym is not open 24 hours per day as the name implies. more

24 Hour Fitness in Coral Springs is a great place to get in some exercise during the week or on the weekend. Unfortunately, it is not open 24 hours a day, but the hours are reasonable. A child care center is available on site when you are taking a class or working out. The classes are run by professionals and are very enjoyable. The exercise equipment is state of the art and the environment is very clean. Go check out the yoga class...even guys love it! more
