The architectural design and aesthetic appeal of 20.21 are very in line with other Wolfgang restaurants (Spago, red seven) but, unfortunately, that's where the dining experience e...

one word...AWESOME! 8/1/2005

I went with my brother and sister, just to try something new. It was the best food I have ever had. It was expensive but well worth it. I had the chicken and it was excellent. The server always brings out a free sample from the chef, which was a fun surprise. The only thing I had a problem with was the noice. Try getting a table by the window, it is very small and packed together, so anything by the wall will give you a little bit more privacy. I never got to go outside but I'm sure those would be great seats too. I tried to get reservations but couldn't, but we went anyway and got seated right away. Pros: Excellent Food, Pretty View Cons: Crowded more

Incredible Food! 7/22/2005

Make a reservation, now! :) My husband and I have dined at numerous Puck restaurants and the new Minneapolis 20.21 certainly did not disappoint. The food was outstanding and also a suberb value -- we were impressed with how generous the portions were. Everything was done impeccably and presented with equal panache -- spicy caramely roasted green beans with sesame, a melt -in-your mouth butterfish (please DO NOT ever take this off the menu!!), and a wonderful flat-iron steak with Schezuan sauce and mushrooms. The side dishes were interesting as well -- we loved a vegetable saute of shitakes, asparagus, bok choy, long beans and ever so thinly sliced and carmalized onions. Wow! The only thing we'd love to see is additional wild, eco-friendly fish like wild Alaskan salmon and halibut, and also a few great organic wines. Great sashimi cones!!!! We'll be back! Pros: Food, Service, Value more

Great food, great service, reasonable price 5/27/2005

Wolfgang Puck's ""20.21"" at the Walker Art Center is a treat. Fabulous food, they recommend serving it family style, surpasses all the hype. The room with its terrific view of downtown, the Basilica, the Sculpture Garden and Loring Park, is minimalist chic. The servings are large and the service terrific. Surprisingly, the prices are decent. No problem getting a fine meal including wine for $30 each. Don't leave without trying their signature desert, Cube and Spoon and Cherry in honor of the Cherry and Spoonbridge scultpure in the garden. Pros: food, service, price Cons: tough to reserve more
