I've been a long-time member and have really noticed in the last few months how much the service is improving. They recently opened a new distribution center in Pennsylvania with New York on the short list of east coast locations being added to the areas it will serve. I have already seen an improvement in shipping times now that the load on the original California distribution center has been lessened so I can only imagine this getting better once my games start shipping from Pennsylvania. Since their inception there has only been one distribution center on the west coast so shipping times were slower for those of us on the east. People griped about it and Gamefly responded which is awesome. I suppose I shouldn't just assume everyone knows what Gamefly is. Simply put, it is an online video game rental service that operates on the same model as Netflix does for movies. You choose a monthly plan (1 game out, 2 games out, etc...) and then add games to your queue. You can keep them as long as you like and send them back when you're done and they've got games for every platform under the sun. If you really like something you rent you can buy it from them at a discount by just logging into your account and using the "keep it" feature. Very cool and very economical.
