Review content:
I first chose this practice because it was close to my home (the Columbia Ave. location), but no one explained to me that for OB care you go to the Good Drive location.
I liked Dr. Kegel, but never saw him once I got pregnant. Actually I only saw one OB the whole nine months, the rest of my visits we were told we needed to see a different nurse midwife each time. For this reason there was no continuous care, and I felt like I was just being passed around. There were times that my husband and I waited in our exam room for an hour before someone came in for us.
The front desk staff, and the check out desk staff are absolutely the rudest I have ever encountered at any medical facility, and the midwives who helped with my labor were very busy with other delivering patients. I barely saw them and when I did, they second-guessed my wishes, yelled at me, threatened me and made me doubt my ability to deliver my daughter. After it was too late, they realized that she was facing the wrong way and never descended.
Was not a pleasant experience, and I know of two doctors (including the one who ended up delivering daughter) have left.
