I questioned their denial of a complimentary exam in the exam room with a vet tech that I got with a coupon. We went back and forth a bit and she said she would go talk with the veterinarian. The next person that entered the room was the doctor and I therefore assumed all was well. Upon checking out, I saw that they charged me the exam fee and when I questioned it, they gave me the runaround about bringing both dogs in at the same time. I objected because it was never made clear to me that I would be charged the exam fee for the visit. The receptionist went back to check with the vet and then the vet (Dr. Garner) came out to discuss. Her assertion was that the vet tech let me know they would not honor the coupon. I told her that the vet tech NEVER communicated that to me. Dr. Garner questioned my version of the events but in reality, the vet tech was NOT being honest about what happened. It really bothered me to have my version (the real one) questioned. In my opinion I agree with the reviews that this practice is not honest or honorable. As others have stated, they try to up sell services that are not necessary and they overcharge. Their exam fee is nearly twice as much as other vets. I was not happy with this experience and it was really upsetting mostly because they acted like I was being dishonest.
