Review content:
My wife and I went in with our 35+year old Singer that my mother had given us for our wedding. My wife was making baby blankets for our new grandchildren when it quit. As I feared, the old plastic/nylon gears had rotted/stripped away and we were looking at the cost of a new machine for repairs. Tricia was extremely helpful and patient, since from our perspective things in the world of sewing machines had changed dramatically. She demonstrated the machines we had questions about, allowed my wife to work with the different machines. Tricia is extremely knowledgeable about all the different brands - I don't think we asked a single question that she wasn't able to provide answers or information about. No high pressure sales and actually pointed us to a refurbed second hand Janome MC9500 as an economical way to ""enter"" the world of the higher end embroidery/sewing/quilting machines. She also signed my wife up for classes and membership for the local Janome club. They are also setting up some one on one sessions for new Janome owners - even though it is not a sale for a new machine. I don't think either of us could have asked for a better experience or more knowledgeable/helpful staff.
