I had heard great things about Shively through a friend of mine. Her dog had the same surgery that my dog was about to get except my dog had ACL tares in both her hind legs. I received two other opinions from reputable vets (who were also very expensive) so I knew going into the visit what was wrong with my dog. My 2 1/2- 3 hour wait was something I expected going into the initial visit. Sarah was caring and answered all my questions. I made an appointment for x-ray's the following day. That night I called to get their hours of operation and talked to a lady on the phone. I also asked her if I could at some point talk to the surgeon that was preforming the operation. I'm not sure if she spoke to Sarah that night but she got back on the phone and said that I should go back to the specific vet that I previously visited (and that I told Sarah about) if I wanted to see the surgeon. I was upset about the comment and figured if I was about to spend a little less than $2,000, I should be able
