I went to this salon for a trim and have layers 6 inches deep into my once beautiful healthy long hair. I have been told it will take a year to grow this horrendous mop out. I asked for no layering on the sides. He grabbed my hair quickly and pulled it on top of my haid and chopped it. He did not check in with me, just grabbed a huge portion of my hair straight up and cut. This was after I specified not to layer the sides, basically leave it one length and blend the existing layers. I was terrified and sat mute while he butchered me. I did not trust what was happening, but figured I had to let him finish his job. Stupid me for not speaking up. This haircut makes no sense whatsoever. Not even a very short bob would fix this mess. I am told that I won't have anything resembling a hairstyle for some time by qualified hairdressers. I've been told it will take a year before it is where it was, and that is if my hair can grow healthfully like this. I have horrendous layers if you can even call them that that begin just under my ear, and limp spaghetti on the bottom half of my head. The front sides are much shorter than the back, which does not resemble angling, the front section is just missing. I asked for a blunt cut straight across the bottom, and thickness on the bottom. This mess cannot be blended or fixed. Emotionally, I have been devastated by this. I will not have anything presentable in terms of my hair for a very long time. This has taken a huge toll on me.
