Dude's Ranch is located in Acton but they travel to different locations throughout S.California with their horses. If you ride at the ranch, it is beautiful with spectacular views and their services are great! If you select to go to a special location, they will meet you and arrange for an appropriate horse ride depending on your level of riding. The horses were beautiful, lovely and in such great shape! Dude's Ranch is first a non profit horse rescue. It's really sad and terrible what people do to their horses but the ranch does great work to rehab the horses. The best thing about Dude's Ranch is that all of the money we paid to ride went to their feed fund. We did have other fund options but we thought that was the most useful to the rescue.
Bottom line, we had a great time horseback riding, loved our experience, we learned a lot about horses and we felt great because we helped by making our donation. By the way, we've gone back to volunteer and help out around the ranch. It's so much fun!
I highly recommend this place!
