John Casablancas Model and Acting school has been such a pleasant surprise and wonderful experience for our daughter. The classes are so much more than modeling and acting. If my daughter never gets a paying modeling job, the cost was money well spent as her confidence and attitude is so much better. Many things impressed us about JC, but the first presentation struck us in a couple ways. It was stressed that if you think you can go through the classes and then sit back and wait for the jobs to come to you, then don?t sign up and they said you might as well leave now. They stressed it is a job that you have to work at and the work is hard. You will have to deal with rejection many times over. They discussed the hotline and the need to call it every week and to follow the instructions for each job you might be interested in. They never told us they would call us, but that it was up to the talent to pursue any job of interest. Our daughter is now in her third set of classes. She understands that she must work at modeling if she wants to make it and she has taken advantage of being able to take as many classes as you want. Through JC, she had the opportunity to work and participate in the Avanti showcase and was signed by Elite Atlanta and Carolina Talent in Charlotte. But just signing with these agencies again doesn?t mean the work is going to find her and she has continued doing classes, workshops, etc. all provided by JC. I also cannot say enough about Jennifer the manager / owner of JC. She is without a doubt, tough on her talent. But don?t mistake tough with being mean or unpleasant. She wants the best for her talent and she knows what it takes to make it in this business; hard work and the desire to succeed. Go to one Avanti showcase and you will see the professionalism that she demands. I also cannot say enough about Bridget. She has always been honest with us and again stresses the hard work it takes to make it in this business. Ken and Patty
