Review content:
To begin, I live about 70 odd miles from Corpus Christi, I took my bicycle in for a tune up and repair of the derailer. Although they claim most repairs are done in a day, I was given a week before it would be ready. I showed up a week later to pick it up. They all looked dumbfounded because no one notified me that a part needed to be ordered. There goes precious gas! I was then told they would have it ready on Monday. I decided to check on it early in the day on Monday. I wasn't suprised when they said it would not be ready until Wednesday. I said I would pick it up on Saturday seeing how I work during the week and could not make it to CC in time. Sooooo....I called a half hour ago to check on it annndddd it still is not ready. All I heard was an excuse about how he had to run the shop by himself and do the repairs himself and that he didn't have time and he couldn't do it all alone. To top it off, he said all this is a defensive manner. I have been nothing but patient and respectful to them, Two weeks later and I still don't have my bicycle. I come from a customer service background so I believe that when you say you will do something you will get it done when you said you would. I want my bicycle repaired and not defensive excuses. After all, they chose to go into this business.
Pros: Alternative to more expensive dealers and repairs
Cons: what you save in $ you will lose in time
